Datsyuk has another assist... Wish I would have picked him up last week like I had planned....

Should be interesting to see if Datsyuk can keep up his production with both Fedorov and Yzerman back in the lineup.

It's definitely disheartening looking at the production from Blake, Antropov, and Datsyuk at the center position lately. You can downgrade into one of them and take away all of my current RV advantage. My days with those cheap guys are done unless I really need to load up at goalie, but one of those three guys can, in essence, add 7 or so million to your RV.

LOL, I had my All-Star game in NHL2003, and both Jason Allison & Eric Lindros (both on my team) got a 5 minute major and game misconduct. Tony Amonte (on the other team) left the game injured after a viscious hit.

Smallwhirled, based on your comment, you must have a cheapie in goal.... I'd rather risk a cheap forward than a cheap goalie.. I know Vokuon has been great and Tugnutt has been adequate, but how long can that last???

The Colorado scoring line strikes again

Forsberg 1g +3
Hejduk 3a +3
Blake 1g +3
Tanguay 1g 1a +1

I have all but Tanguay.. woohoo...

Yes I do in Voukon.

I'm probably looking into doing that very thing during this next week or so. I've tried to play with big guns at the foward postions all year because I just don't think I'm that good at rotating goalies. Even when I did have Blake earlier, I still needed a cheap goalie to go big everywhere else.

I guess I'm still retooling from the 3HM that I had and that takes some time, I do know for sure that I'm not even close to as good at picking goalies as I am at pitcking pitchers in baseball.

Breaking news:
Owen Nolan has been traded to the Maple Leafs for McCauley, minor leaguer Brad Boyle and a first round pick.

No Giguere again. He was gone tomorrow morning anyway, but one more game out of him would've been nice. Gerber and Giguere are now in a full time split.

Forsberg didnt return after being hit in the midsection, but he wasnt injured seriously. Avalanche coach Tony Granato said Forsberg would be in the lineup Friday night at Tampa Bay.

Yeeeeeeee haw! ;-)

Rogue, not sure how you figure Giguere is in a split with Gerber... Gerber only started one game in the past month that was not part of a b2b.. It just happens that it was early last week and followed by a b2b... but then Giguere started 4 straight.. That doesn't sound like splitting time to me...

Anyway, I'm only holding him for one more game.. vs EDM... than he's gone... I too was hoping he'd play tonight in the b2b, but it wasn't meant to be.

As I've mentioned before(somewhere anyway), Forsberg played for a month or more with a busted SPLEEN. He'll be able to work through a little bruise to the midsection....
He's one of the toughest guys in the NHL.

I, with bookie, am holding Gigure for one more. No options jump off the table for me today. I'm in the process of freeing up the cash from Morrison after tonight into Datsyuk/Blake/Smoke and I'll go two 2 studs at goalie from then on out I think.

Wow, Lalime was the first and best choice I also came up with, but J scoffed at that...but what does he know? ;)

Interesting... I almost went Giguere to Tugnutt yesterday, glad I didn't... I'm not yet convinced that I'll get Lalime, but that's where I'm leaning at the moment...
I also have Kolzig, who will need to be traded soon as he has a huge hole coming up..
