I've already burn 3 of them.....

Hull => Hejduk
Lidstrom => Jovanoski
Cujo => Belfour

I was also really tempted to move out of Tugger, but that would had left me with only 1 trade for the entire week and I was completely sold on Chechmanek of Cloutier....

Dan - please continue spending those trades, especially on players like Guerin;-). I would like to make the end-of-the-season push in the ESD NHL Division a fun competitive battle but that won't be possible unless my team (and others) stay close to yours as you work thru that great inventory of trades. Those trades of yours are a great competitive advantage. I wish I had some to use.

Yeah Dan, I'm not in your division, but since my team is actually one of Walk's, I keep an eye on you two and I'm trying to stay with you too.. For a few weeks, I was ahead, but now my team is slumping badly... Hopefully tonight will be the beginning of my final push for the top 25....

Thornton - Lecavalier X 3 today
Murray - Hejduk X 1 (can't believe I thought Murray was a better hold than Hejduk on any of my teams - ARGHHHH!)

Heads = Bertuzzi
Tails = Iggy

1) Tails
2) Tails

I always do best out of 3. Iggy it is.

Holding Thornton, hoping he'll be big next game.

Thornton to Vinny LeCavalier.

Thought HARD about moving Lalime, given the paucity of clear winnable games coming up in the next 10 days for Ottowa, but already having Cechmanek, cannot find a very attractive substitute (Khabby was an option, but I aint sure he is going to get the easier game tonight, and tomorrow TB is at hot Montreal).

Also, have to move Forsberg for his upcoming 1 in 5 (and Palffy on another team), so trades are precious.

I should have gone with my gut, I went into Lecavalier instead of Prospal, Vinny loses round one. :(

I'm not sure why Prospal's empty net goal was unassisted. Lecavalier won the faceoff to his winger (Fedotenko?) who passed the puck to Prospal who scored into the empty net. Maybe the offical scorer in Buffalo just didn't feel like giving out assists on the goal. It was interesting that Buffalo had their goalie pulled even though the faceoff was in the Buffalo zone.

Don't worry, he'll sit. But since Roenick is playing tomorrow...I'll just take the 5% chance he'll play.

Very expensive to wait - Forsberg down $150,000, Roenick up $120,000. Please play (and score!) Peter!!!

Storr has been the source of great pain the last little while - beginning with losing his shutout with 0.3 seconds remaining against Montreal, then -25/-5/rest/rest in the last four games. I'm stumped as to what to do with him now. Huet played back to back games, allowing only 1 goal. Is Huet going to continue playing or what? Storr dropped $50K today in Basic and the Kings don't play again until Tuesday - that's 2 more days of potential big price drops and then even then who knows who will get the start? I think I have to move to Snow. To get anyone else I'd have to free up some RV with another trade.

Damn, already had to move someone due to injury. So much for banking trades. :-(

I went:
Forsberg -> Roenick

Am considering:
Alfie -> Iggy.. neither play until tomorrow, so I'll probably hold off and consider it again tomorrow...

Trade-strapped teams considering holding Tanguay?

I only have 3 at the moment with Hejduk, Tanguay, and Lalime (move after the Car game probably).

Not thinking about it, smallwhirled. I had no choice. I had to hold Tanguay. Oh the joys of having no trades.

Consulted Dan and J...now Richard confirms, looks like a hold. 1 in 5, then a nice sked. If I had a few more trades I'd go to Amonte, but I don't like going tradeless or at least the idea of possibly being tradeless.

Hejduk > Bertuzzi.

:) Managed to squeeze back into the top 100 at WWR 99 with my 320 TSNP night. (Thanks for nothing Mr. Vokoun and Mr. Morrison. How is it that your linemate scores 3 goals and you get NOTHING?)

I also made 520K today... After being stuck around 69.5 mil for weeks, I was starting to wonder if I'd ever crack 70 mil. Well, I'll probably slip below it again, (as well as slip out of the top 100) but I can say now that I hit 70.05 mil on March 17th. :)

From hockeyinformer.com:

Cristobal Huet, Los Angeles Kings -- Huet will be the starter for Tuesday's game against the Flames, reports the LA Times. It will be his third consecutive start in place of Jamie Storr.

Huet indeed did play last night. I ended up doing a double trade, Hejduk -> Amonte and Storr -> Cechmanek a couple of nights ago. So far it's paid off, but we'll see if it was worthwhile in the long run. I was sad to trade Hejduk, I'd had him the entire season in Basic, and he'd been one of my most consistent guys.
