Didn't realize Pronger was already back...Two early games under way, Rangers at Boston, and the Wings taking on the Blues. Both games scoreless midway through the first.

Scratch the scoreless comment, the Wings take the lead as the Hull, Datsyuk, Zetterberg line strikes again! Hull picks up the goal while the other two assist.

Datsyuk with another goal (unassisted) to give the wings a short-lived 2 goal lead, as Pronger scores his first game of the season, assist to Martins.

I didn't realize that about Pronger either - I had to do a double take when I looked at the ESPN scoreboard and saw:

LAST GOAL: Scored by C. Pronger (1) assisted by S. Martins (16:31)

Didn't take him long to get on the scoreboard, did it?

Kovalev from Barnaby and Mironov give the Rangers the lead with a minute remaining in the first.

I'm heading home now! NO MORE DATSYUK, please :)

haha I was the opposite, I was excited to see Datsyuk get an unassisted one! And then sad to see assists come up for Hull and Legace (not that very many people have Legace, I imagine).

And nice to see Osgood in a hole. :-)

Kovalev with another for the Rangers, Nedved and Barnaby pick up the assists. Thornton from Murray and Knuble strike for the Bruins.

Lidstrom on the PP from Shanny and Larionov gives the Wings a 3-1 lead.

yay!

So many shots.

Datsyuk has almost added three shots to my total by himself. Anything over 600 SWP, and I'm screwed.

to clarify - our alcoholics of the boards - smallwhirled & Dan are doing shots for each 50pts they get.

Wow, tons of fights in the Det-STL game!

Must've been a wild game in St.L with all of those penalty minutes. I don't know if I have seen a boxscore like that in a while.

That's absolutely crazy. *48* penalties in that Detroit/St Louis game. And only 2 of the 8 goals scored were on the power play.

Of course, 24 of those penalties were in the final minute of the game.

Just think if Osgood had gotten one of the many game misconducts handed out today. He'd be -90. :-)

Addendum: there were 4 hours and 3 minutes of penalties assessed in that game.

I'm watching the Mats Sundin milestone celebration. His girlfriend's very good looking, and the two of them look very good together.

What a lucky guy. =)

Holy - Sanderson with a natural hat trick - all 3 goals in a 10 minute span in the 2nd. Plus he already had an assist, so he's already at 182 TSNP with a period left to go.

Sanderson now with 4 goals and 1 assist. Cassels with 1 goal and 4 assists.

For those who may be interested, the Naslund goal in tonights game vs. LA was infact assisted by Todd Bertuzzi.

Not sure why so many places are reporting it as Matt Cooke w/ the assist. I hope TSN'll get the correct TSNP's up.
