Round-by-Round Contest Deadline
Approximately 30 minutes prior to the first game of each playoff round (deadline time will be posted in ET on the site).
Eligibility
No purchase necessary. This contest is open only to legal residents of Canada. Void in Quebec and in other jurisdictions where prohibited by law or licensing is required. Participants must be 16 years of age or older to be eligible to play. Employees of Fantasy Sports Services Inc., the CANOE Limited Partnership or any subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising, promotion or publicity agencies, or members of their immediate families, are not eligible to win. If you reside in the Province of Quebec or outside Canada or an eligible jurisdiction, you may play the game for enjoyment purposes and have your place noted in the standings however, you will not be eligible to win a prize.
How to Play
Select a team of nine (9) players, comprised of eight (8) Skaters (includes Forwards and Defensemen) and one (1) Goalie, who you think will do well in the 2003 hockey playoffs. In the case of the Goalie, you are selecting a Team. You CANNOT exceed the nine-player limit and must select one player from each of the nine (9) lists provided. The players you select will accumulate points based on the SLAM! Speed Stick 24/7 2003 Playoff Hockey Pool scoring system. Only statistics from the 2003 hockey playoffs will count towards the contest. SLAM! Speed Stick 24/7 2003 Playoff Hockey Pool point totals will be tabulated daily and the results will be posted daily (as applicable) throughout the duration of the contest. The daily point totals will include all the SLAM! Speed Stick 24/7 2003 Playoff Hockey Pool points accumulated by the skaters and goaltenders up to and including the previous night's 2003 hockey playoff games. The first standings will be posted on Thursday, April 10, 2003.
Contest Deadlines
Overall Contest Deadline: 6:00 p.m. ET, Wednesday, April 9, 2003.
Entrants who submit and have their selections confirmed prior to 6:00 p.m. ET, Wednesday, April 9, 2003 will accumulate Fantasy Points (FP's) based on their initial selections for the duration of the overall contest period. Entrants who submit their selections anytime after the Overall Contest Deadline will accumulate Fantasy Points (FP's) beginning with the next subsequent Playoff Round. Fantasy Points (FP's) will not be awarded retroactive to the start of a given Playoff Round or the start of the overall contest period.

I've e-mailed the webmaster and hope that anyone experiencing problems with the hockey pool site will do likewise. (Numbers get more attention than a single message.) If I receive a helpful response, I'll share the information here.
Chestergreat, although I've been checking Canoe for weeks, searching for news about Grand SLAM! Baseball, there's been no sign of the game this year. Maybe you broke the bank. :-)

Was pretty good last year.
Won a weekly prize of $75 in the 2nd week of the season
Won the 1st monthly prize for $150 (by 1 point)
You could only win one weekly and one monthly prize . . so I figured that was it. Then at the end of the game I got an e.mail saying I won the overall prize of $1,000. This was just a lucky draw amongst all the weekly & monthly winners.
Nice for a free game!
