Can spezza win the rookie of the year next year?
How many games can you play in a year to not count?
I think Spezza played too many! |

To be eligible for the award, a player cannot have played more than 25 games in any single preceding season nor in six or more games in each of any two preceding seasons in any major professional league. The player must not be older than 26 years before September 15 of the season in which he is eligible.

Spezza... He might get 60 points, 40 of them on powerplay, and then get a -15 rating on the league's best team at goal differential. He's not that good defensively, period.

I don't think any young player is good defensively right off the bat. Look at all the future hall of famers now and u'll see that they had some terrible +/- numbers in their formative years.
They just need to give the kid a chance...

How about Spezza tonight! Take that all you Spezza haters...I'm telling you...the sens are moving Bonk and getting some help in the defense cause they won't be resigning Phillips. Spezza will move in to center a line with Hossa and break out big time!
