The only move I have planned so far is Zednik -> Kariya on Tuesday morning. I'll get 4 Kariya games in 6 days instead of 2 Zednik games.

I moved Gordon > Spezza and Hossa > Ryder lateral move as I need to focus on money.

I have 3 teams this year and did a 2 day and 3 day late strategy. At first glance, I have made modest money and only 400 pts. Looking forward to the better schedules to take advantage of some of my drafts.

I'm trying to fit Ryder in too, but have no idea who to move out of. Any suggestions?

Zednik: Would be lateral, and I feel Zednik has better chances of points.
Samsonov: Playing tonight, good schedule too. Can't move him.
Zetterberg: I could move him, but he's got a good schedule too.
Czerkawski: Would definitely pick him if I knew his gains were done. Doesn't play for 3 days either...

I'm leaning towards one of the last two, but it all depends on if Czerkawski will make cash still. Any opinions on this?

Damn, I mismanaged my time studying all night and morning for a mid-term and I didn't get my week late team started yet, oh well, there's more games tommorow, should be fine.

Did go Mogilny > Ryder with Mogilny's injury on a team to free up some cash for later.

I ended up moving Czerkawski, who was +20K. Zetterberg was +10K and Zednik was even, so the difference was negligible. The latter two have better schedules too, so looks like I made the right move so far.

Briere --> Datsyuk, in lou of Briere's injury. Just as he begins to contribute too, bah.

Made the following moves:

Boyd --> Sakic
Klatt --> Ryder

On one team I had to create cash by moving Numminen to Van Ryn (aaargh, poor drafting management!).

Managed 590K today, and still have only used 1 trade. Of course, I only have 100 TSNP... ;)

I didn't really predict Kariya's gain today though. With only a 2-in-5 starting tonight, I didn't think he'd gain more then 50K. When he gets 4-in-6 starting Tuesday is when I thought everyone would jump on. At least I already had Sakic. Of course, you all realize this means it'll be Hejduk and Forsberg's night tonight, right? ;)

Good call Tuques. Kariya with only 12 TSNP, but I'm sure you guys will also gladly take the +110K.

Thanks R9 but caribou and destroy* manage to rank more pts then me last night anyway, even with Peter and Ribiero on my roster.... I'm working hard to climb in that really tough division ESDNHL..... Good battle boys for the top 5 seed....

Could I get some help this morning before the freeze? My internet is lagging, and I can't fill out a team....it'll take me 3 hours. If anyone is there to do it over AIM (brad dubya88), I'd really appreciate it.

Anyone picking up Zidlicky? I know he's got 3 days off but I think he's the next money train with at least a point a game and getting tons of ice time. Moved out of Numminen as a pure money move.

I got a bit lucky and drafted him. He had only rattled off two good games at that time, so I'm thrilled with his production so far. So yes, everyone pick this guy up! :)

Seriously though, I think the 3-day break will slow down his train, but only in the immediate 3-day future. His production has been great, he's cheap, and he was the #2 money gainer yesterday. If people hold off because of Nashville's break, they'll just pick him up when the break is finished. That equals money weather you get him now or later.

I decided to drop Bergeron since he was a healty scratch last game, and went to Zidlicky who should see plenty of money comming, I already have Jillson and Van Ryn...

Iwent Klesla > Zidlicky on a team so I have him x3 now. Moved into Kovalchuk on a team and will get him on the last one tommorrow.

Pretty horible start for my teams though.

Turek out 4 weeks, so McLennan's a cheap option at 1.32 million. He's played well in the 2 games he's started, with a shutout against Edmonton too. The thing is his next four games are against the Blues, Oilers, Avs, and Dallas. Anyone else considering picking him up?

Morrisson (Van, 7 mil, 2 games in the next week) > Roenick (Phi, 6.7 mil, 4 games in the next week)

i wouldnt take ANY GOALIE with those teams coming up, especially one on a team that hasnt been scoring, and has been a career backup.

Where was Jani Pitkanen last night? He isn't listed as playing.
