I gotta say it has made it easier to make money to start late. I had a full roster on Saturday. And now my roster value is something like 32.500. Not the best perhaps, but not too shabby. Starting late I also saved my 2 trades and got 4 trades total. I spent 3 of them today, cause I really don't think Barnes and Jillson will create more money, unless they start to produce. There's a risk people will drop them, sell them and the money has been truly earned and can't be lost. So I went Barnes-Ryder (hey I don't think he's a holder but the lemmings will make a money train out of him), Jillson-Ohlund (another shortterm money train), and Bondra-Kariya (both holder and moneytrain!). Only 1 trade left so now I have to start being careful, I now consider this the true season-start for me. Pointwise, it's been crap, so it's time to get going there. Hopefully a good money start pays off. If I'd picked my roster before seasonopener, I'd like had to use my trades to jump on the trains, and then I hadn't been able to do much more, and been stuck with Barnes etc.

I went 6 days late with my 3 ultimate teams, and while point-wise I'm obviously behind, money-wise its been great. Three straight days of 500K+ gains, and only 1 trade used. (So I have 9 banked.) Got the trains like Ryder, Ribeiro, Tanabe and Theodore, and some good holds in Sakic, Samsonov and the Detroit Duo. (Datsyuk/Zetter) Aebischer I'm not sure how to classify, but I've got him too.

I'll update where I'm standing in about a week or two. By then, I hope to be among the money leaders, and only about 1000-1200 TSNP behind the top dogs. Its my hope my extra 7-8 trades that I have on the leaders will eventually equal more then 1000 TSNP later in the year. With more money, each of those trades should mean alot more then they do now.

Of course, from now 'till March its all up to my trading skill, so I'm pretty much screwed. :)

lol! Just noticed that. I actually like your team better right now for purely money. Plus you have all 10 trades still...

I also have a 6-day late team thats 1200 TSNP behind the leader in ESD division, so I better hope my 3rd team is in a weak division or I just might not make my money back...

My internet acces has been spotty, my free-time has been even more spotty....but I'm really starting to like the makeup of my 8 day late team now.

Being so laid back this year, I still have yet to hit 53 million on this team, but I think I've got some time with 15 trades in the bank (haven't used one yet).

1189
3631 WWR
15 trades
52.85

I need to get on my horse as RV is my only shot like last year, but this looks like my best team right now. My 3 day late is a disaster, and my ESDNHL is just average right now.

FWIW, Forsberg up 40 and Sakic down 110. I know it's after a hat trick but it still seems just a little odd...yeah, yeah, I know Kariya is out.
