I'm in picking up straka from FA in my roto league, thinking of who I should drop... between Briere, Daniel or Langkow, Daymond .. Any suggestions? |

Personally without analysing it too much I would pick Briere. Ever since he was traded for Phoenix last year he's been playing pretty well.

Obviously Board_Wiper didn't read your whole post, but I say pick Langkow to drop. Keep Briere IMO

Depends on what you're looking for, IMO. If you're looking for straight up points, particularly PPP, then I'd drop Langkow. However, if +/- and consistency are a concern for you, I'd drop Briere as Langkow is more likely to end up in the + and get you can practically write 50-55 points in the books for Langkow on the season. Given the choice, I'd keep both and leave Straka as a FA. Especially since I can't see there being a rush to grab Straka when he doesn't play again until Wed.

Yeah sorry. Ira's right. I meant to say pick Briere and the one to keep.

I understand it's not TSN. I got that from the "FA" and "roto league" part of your question. However, if Straka's there now, he'll be there in a few days. He's not exactly on fire right now (Both Briere and Langkow have more points) and he's also not the same player who put up big stats in 2000 and 1998. Personally, I'd be surprised to see him top 40-45 points and do better than a -10. But, that's your call.
