Guys i'm playing basic hockey and i've been holding lalime hoping for a real senators team to emerge. Much to my dismay this has not happened.
I'm lookin for another goalie, really any price range as im planning to move Vasicek to either V.Bure or another cheaper wing
we all know lalime is in the 9 mill range
here are my thoughts
Brodeur - not great sched but is #1
luongo - can't trust the panthers, ok sched
nurminen - great sched , is he for real?
theodore - bad sched, habs can fall apart
dunham - i like him, but split time
denis - it's columbus

Anyways guys here's my team
C ROENICK
W KOVALCHUK
W CZERCHAUSKI
D VISNOVSKY
D MALAKHOV
G LALIME
EA VASICEK

I know there's a few money train guys there but RV is huge at this point. Anyways any advice regarding Goalie is NEEDED!!
Thanks, Josh.

I'd keep Lalime, there's no real need to trade him right now.

Keep Lalime. I was going to buy into him but I was short $20,000.

Keep lalime, you seemed to have held onto him when his schedule was poor, why trade when it picks up. I just moved into him x3 and think he is a safe hold for 3 weeks.

Yeah, well they lost last night and Lalime had a terrible TSN game. Few shots and several goals for a negative game. He used to have a shutout once a while, too. I am getting frustrated myself, but feel I have to hold. Or maybe move to Hasek.

I'm getting frustrated with him too, but his schedule remains too good to pass up. I watched the Mtl-Ott game, and Mtl just got lucky. Especially on the game-winner.

Ottawa's a top team with alot of games coming up... I just can't bring myself to waste a trade on that.

Its tough though seeing people who picked up Osgood, bad schedule and all, saving 3 mil over us, making money, and getting the SO last night. Not much we can do about it now though...

Does anyone, probaly Ira, have news on Tommy Salo, Edmonton has good schedule coming up and Conklin has played well for his price, just wondering if Salo's back soon to steal the playing time.

I think Osgoode was a good pickup coming from Khabi. I will likely dump Osggode in a week or so for Khabi again or maybe Brodeur

To think, 7 days ago I was more worried about Mclennan then Lalime! Lost 120K today, dropping my 3 teams from the top RV. I didn't even know he had gone up enough on the year to drop that much in one day.

Ah well, we've held this long, and now we're into the meat of the Ottawa schedule. Everyone else still holding?

Filthy Rich, don't expect Salo to get much playing time anytime soon, expecially with Conklin's ausome play.

Even if he did get playing time, he sucks this year.

I sure hope that Lalime is the man, 'cause after half a period at home against Carolina Ottowa has ZERO shots on goal. Amazing. Like many others, I have Hossa, Lalime and Bonk. And my WWR has steadily declined the last 2 weeks (I can only blame myself though...aaargh).

Funny, Dr. Doom. Four minutes to go and still no shots on goal. A good senator housecleaning may be in order, not in the fantasy game either!

They got one! It was incredibly weak, but a shot none-the-less. I really have no idea what to do now... Everything I've touched these last two weeks has turned to crap. For the sake of others playing this game, I may just hold. ;)

Shocking. Actually, I think it was a typo goal. The same guy scored for both teams: Vrbata. Must be Canes 2-0. JUST KIDDING.

Man, Ottowa needs a break. I wonder if they will make some real trades; that was the stuff I read in the Ottowa Sun the other day at least (or at least one sportswriter's call for action). I sure hope they bust out, for insignificant fantasy sakes.

Oh man! I have the gift! Closed on a our 2nd apt in NYC today and am combining to two, having some champagne, and tracking my senators busting out. Yeah, yeah, YEAH!

Next up: My own strangers. I hope the senators beat 'em 8-0.

Pathetic obsession with fantasy sports.

I'll wait to see if Naslund can actually get a positive TSNP total tonight. Any chance you can work your magic there? ;)

Oh the humanity...

I echo R9's sentiments. Ottawa's play of late has felt like punishment for using good judgement and hockey sense. :(

I wanted to talk myself into holding him, but Ottawa is just really awful right now. Of course, they're going to turn it around now that I ditched him...

Went with Aebischer for a week, then I'll decide again. I could've gone with Brodeur, but I have a plan for my wings come the 30th that will need a bit of cash, so I couldn't tie it up with a goalie I'd want to keep.

Hey R9, are you talking about Glen Murray, Mike Knuble or Sergei Samsonov? =)

... and Sauve gets the start for Colorado tonight. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!! Maybe I'll just pick up to 500K guys and load up everywhere else...

TLW, I've been eyeing Murray, Knuble, Palffy and Recchi. A few others too maybe. Bottom line is I'll want some cash to use when I sell Naslund and V. Bure on the morning of the 30th. Since I couldn't pick a goalie to save my life, I'll load up at W and hope for the best.

I'm not complaining too much. Sauve lost points tonight.
