Looking ahead the Bruins never have more than 2 nights off from 11/19 until Dec 23rd. They play 18 games in 35 days.
Thornton is a must. Lapointe (I can't STAND him) but his #'s have been good..too bad gravity is taking its toll.
Who is on the money train w/me? (hopefully). |

Detroit has one more game over that time period, and LA has the same number of games, but ends on the 22nd. Philly has the same number of games. Looks like a lot of possibilities, which will negatively affect the capacity of those Bruin "trains". I am not saying that there won't be money to be made, and trades to save, by going into Bruins; it just won't be as significant as one might otherwise hope.

I can't see it. After the new trades come out, Boston plays 2 games in three nights then 1 in 5 (3 in 10). I bet that train will be departing on either Nov. 28th or more likely on Dec. 3rd/4th. That being said, this game tends to bewilder me at times.

I've got Thornton (and maybe Lidstrom) on my list starting Dec 3rd. I might go with him on the 30th though, since I have Jokinen who'll have to go that day.

Good points all around. Might be safe to have a player from BOS/PHIL/DET/LA for that whole run...
