0 Subject: New Trades... (Basic)

Here's my better team (of two teams) but not doing as well as I'd like in the overall standings:

Roenick, Jeremy PHI

Hossa, Marian OTT
Tanguay, Alex COL
Bure, Valeri FLA

Zidlicky, Marek NAS
Souray, Sheldon MON

Osgood, Chris STL

$4,210,000 in available cash.

I moved out of Czerkawski, Kovalchuk, Jovanovski, and Vacisek to get this team so I do not think i'll use my two new trades so quickly. Any thoughts?

Here's my crappier team with $1,020,000 cash left:

Vasicek, Josef CAR

Tanguay, Alex COL
Bonk, Radek OTT
Kovalchuk, Ilya ATL

Ohlund, Mattias VAN
Pitkanen, Jani PHI

Osgood, Chris STL

I'll definitely need my two trades here. Not sure which two I'll trade yet.

Derek Armstrong Center for LA is hurt, that means there could be a possible good cheap option that will be centering Palffy, and Robitaille on the main power play unit.

Any LA fans heard any speculation of who will be getting the top line spot?

Aw crap!

I moved Vasicek to Armstrong an hour ago!

How long will he be out?

Jovo did better than well, he took over tonight, 10 shots, some big hits and 2 goals, easily the best player on the ice.

Ira- Armstrong has broken finger- six to eight weeks.

Modin is more or less a plus/minus guy where draper will get his pts in front of the net and penalty mins. PLease help me on this one

I like 2 guys ahead of those two (Moreau and Kapanen), but to answer your question, I like Draper a little bit more. Modin has been in gravity since day one; Draper just pulled out.

Im planning on picking up Kapanen next week. I don't like his 3 days off. Thanx Irish Red =)
I think Im getting Draper.

I don't think the extra points you'll get in one extra game from Draper are worth the extra trade. I still suggest going straight to Kapanen.

Guys serious problem.

Kovalchuk. Yeah I had no trades to get out of him last week. So here's my dilemna. He got 95 TSNP tonight with a decent schedule. Only problem is him losing money. Will he continue to significantly go down after putting up 95 TSNP?

What would you guys think?

Is Kovalchuk > Lang a good idea or would it be a better idea to save my trades for someone else?

(BTW does anyone know if Dunham is playing tomorrow?)

I was thinking the same thing. I want to keep him as several others in my division have him so I'd hate for them to get the points he gets BUT being different is good too. What a dilemma. I may drop him if I decide I need the cash on my crappy team later tonight when I work out my trades though.

I ended up doing this:

Kovalchuk > Selanne (Selanne's price has really gone down a lot. He can't go much lower and he's not doing all that bad either.)

I'm going to hold onto Dunham in case he plays tonight and then trade him after the game tomorrow for Brodeur most likely regardless.

I decided I'd go for Aebischer. Brodeur is nice but expensive. Maybe in a month after I make a few more million. I think Aebischer will get a lot tomorrow

Here's a question: I have Vacisek and have to decide if I keep him or dump him for Messier. Can't afford much else.

Go with Shawn Bates or Kris Draper; Messier's points are all from his one good night. I would go with Draper, as he looks to be the more consistent scorer of TSNP.

Anyone know if Hasek will play tonight? ESPN said he didn't play last night because of his injured groin.

RotoWire said yesterday that Hasek would be held out until at least Saturday. Legace and Joseph were to split yesterday and today's games; so Joseph should be starting today.

Thanks. I think I'll take a chance he does not drop much and hold him for his two in a row then drop him.

I was watching the Wings game yesterday and they said that Hasek wouldn't play today.

I'm holding him. I hate wasting trades on defenceman and will have to eventually on Souray and buy someone I will not trade for a while (likely back to Jovanovski)

I just picked up Recchi myself. I hate the Flyers too, but I figure if they are gonna do well I might as well prosper from it.

1 minute away from a Roman Shutout today... grr... I hate that.
I will only feel better if Nummi gets lit up.
