Moved a cheapie winger to Luc Robitaille. Still holding McLennan and Lalime, who combined, have helped me lose mucho ground in the standings (my more expensive forwards have not overcompensated, or even compensated). Trying to stay the course, as in sport, these moves often do not pan out immediately, but do so over time.

Trying to hold ship here, but worried about the price movers still.

McClean plays a 6 in 17 starting today. I thought I was set on holding him, but I just don't know now.

My combos will have to be selling Naslund, I hate doing this but it may be worth it in the long run.

Pretty torn between
Datsyuk/Palffy
Lang/Shanny

Plan on holding the new 5 trades as long as I can.

I am moving my two St. Louis Blues into Tampa players, coming off their 1 in 8. Their long term schedule (and I mean loooong term) is the best in the league.

Demitra --> LeCavalier
Osgood --> Khabibulin

Khabi will be a long term hold, and Vinny is just holding a spot for Roenick, who I will get back shortly. I had also wanted to move into Kubina, but will have to wait on that until I get out of Jokinen (need more dollars!)

None really still have Murminem and Morrison but both have pretty good short term scheds. Morrison- Lang looks good for money but I think I will hold as Morrison has lost most of what he had gained. Randy Robitaille might go too but I would like to upgrade as opposed to getting another cheapie and agian he has a good sched.

I need find a way to inject some life into my roster. I'm thinking these:

Spezza -> Lang
McLean -> Bergeron
Bonk (Possible injury) -> Kovalchuk

Looking at Pitkanen; looks like his price is going to leak for the next few days. He is either number 1 or number 2 in ownership (see Wian's chart from 11/12). People are moving into Zidlicky, but I am already there. Where else will people trade to? Kubina? Zhitnik?

If it is Kubina, you can trade tomorrow morning and get 4 games for 2, and be back to Pitkanen for the 26th. If it is Zhitnik, you can trade on Friday morning for 3 games for 1, and be back to Pitkanen on the 25th, for the game on the 26th. Cost: two trades on cheap D. It's the age old question; how much money and points is a trade worth?

I am leaning towards the Zhitnik option; that gives me one more day to see what the dollars will do. My second choice is to do nothing, and save the two trades for later. For me, third option is Kubina. I just don't like the TSN points distribution for him. He has played 10 games, with 4 negatives, 1 zero, and the rest positive (with his best 101 points against Pitt.) Zhitnik's numbers are more consistent, but he might be in gravity.

Anyone else out there with thoughts on this?

If you guys had to pick between F. Modin and K. Draper, who would you pick? Im lost right now, as have been thinking about this for an hour now. Modin is more or less a plus/minus guy where draper will get his pts in front of the net and penalty mins. PLease help me on this one.

Here are some news on Bonk from the Ottawa Sun....

Senators C Radek Bonk, nursing a sore back, wore a red sweater in practice yesterday. Senators coach Jacques Martin said he will be a game-time decision today ... G Patrick Lalime will get the start for the Senators tonight ... Senators goaltending coach Phil Myre said based on his evaluations this season, Lalime has played five games above average, two below average and six games in which he has been "adequate." "I tell guys right from the start, it's not the saves you make, but the goals you give up," said Myre of his evaluations. "You have to make sure you're in position to make them earn their goals."... Martin juggled his lines a little bit in practice yesterday. Bonk and C Jason Spezza alternated between RW Marian Hossa and LW Vaclav Varada. C Todd White was between LW Peter Schaefer and RW Daniel Alfredsson. C Bryan Smolinski was between LW Antoine Vermette and RW Martin Havlat. That left LW Petr Schastlivy with C Shaun Van Allen and RW Chris Neil ... The 'Canes are coming off a 2-2 tie with the Flyers Tuesday night in which they came back from a 2-0 deficit ... G Kevin Weekes was hot, coming up with a number of big saves, including one in overtime, to help the 'Canes earn their point ... 'Canes D Glen Wesley hurt his right shoulder in the game against the Flyers and is expected to miss the next two games ... The Senators are expected to wear their black sweaters again tonight. They are 0-3 so far this season in the blacks ... There are about 2,250 tickets available for tonight with 400 starting at $21.

Gotta move McLennan. One game in the next 6 and sure to drop a bit today, IMO.

I was a day late and a dollar short in moving McLennan to Conklin today instead of yesterday. No way am I holding McLennan thru this slow period of games and Conklin is the best I can afford.

Killed my trade bank in 3 days. Everything is going wrong now for me. :(

Lalime > Broduer
Havlat > Rucinsky
Robatille > Savard

I'm trading into negative games and injuries and it just keeps backfiring god damnit! the ESDNHL changes every day. The teams that were on top 2 weeks ago have all been passed pretty much. Hopefully Rucinsky stays hot b/c I'm really tied up for cash now.

Hey smallwhirled, the ESDNHL is the best division and I've been able to be the top seeded guy for a week now, I've manage to do some really good moves in the last couple of days to stay there, but I keep feeling the pressure... I'm fully and completely enjoying my moment of glory wyle it last....

I can't wait to go get Savard back on my lineup, but I don't know who to sell for him... I actually have :

Joe Thornton => Basic sched but he's Joe
Boby Holik => Being a good point producer latelly...
Robert Lang => No point of moving him....

As soon as one of those have a real gap in the sched I'm going back to Savard... I also have Ilya for the first time of the year....
