Elias scored with almost four minutes left in the game to make it four-nothing. I'm just curious why L.A. had an empty net? I cannot recall a team emptying their net down 3 goals with 4 minutes remaining. Anyone watching and can maybe explain? |

Thats a move out of Mike Keenans book. He used to always do that when he coached Canucks.
I think it is to hopefully score a quick goal to make it a 2 goal deficit and still have decent amount of time left to try to do something.
If they get scored on , its not totally heartbreaking, seeing as theyre down by 3 already anyways.
