He is not listed in the Point Calculator for the game tonight. Did he play? Anybody have any information? There is nothing posted yet in Rototimes. |

Irish, I noticed from rotoworld.com:
"Doug Weight is probable for tonight's game against the Blue Jackets despite a mild groin muscle strain, reports the St.Louis Post Dispatch.
Weight missed practice yesterday to rest the injury. If Weight can't play, Steven McLaren just called up from Worcester of the AHL, will make his NHL debut in Weight's place."

Weight did not play...according to this a.m.'s St. Louis Post Dispatch, he had a "groin pull." No word from the same newspaper if he will play tomorrow night (and I have him too, and am not sure what to do).

I save trades for this type of emergency; perhaps I am trigger happy, but Shane Doan looks to be a good replacement. A bad groin and a heavy schedule are not a good combination. I already have Draper and Datsyuk, who would have been my first two choices. Lang would be a good choice, but I can't afford him at this time.
