Thanks Rogue. Yeah, I have had a nice run of late. About time!
Not sure what to do with Savard. $ for sure, but he and Heatley are both rusty and Atlanta is not playing too well of late -- particularly on the offensive end (of course, they could break out on any given day).
I have:
- Ribeiro, nice schedule - Weight, consistent, but blues are struggling, and - Sakic -- prime candidate with Av's 3 days off coming up and struggling himself...but he does have a game tonight.
Decisions.

Went Elias - Savard. Money gains will be there and Savard will net me two x-tra games upto 02/13 if I choose to hold him that long

I just picked up Elias, but the temptation is too great... I'm going Elias -> Savard....
Tomorrow, I'll probably go Sakic -> Weight....

Another freeze missed entirely, that's 3 in a row.
Holding Aebisher all the way through. Should've went Bergeron > Savard today, I'll have to think of some better plans now though.

Alright, I bit the bullet. I had always planned on moving Sakic, so he went for Richards. But I also decided to move Tanguay. The money losses there will be too great. Aeb I should probably have moved too, for money reasons, but I'd definitely want him back (like Tanguay) and I just don't have that many trades.
So hanging on to Aeb (eep!), Hejduk (who has little ownership) and Blake (ditto).

I have a few options today.. Both Sakic and Hejduk will be going (I don't have Tanguay and Abbey and will likely hold forsberg...)
Sakic could become Thorton, Weight or Ribeiro (I have Doan and Savard) Hejduk would become Tkachuk, Bertuzzi, Murray, Recchi.. etc... Lots of options....
The big decision is center.. If I go to Ribeiro and hold for a while, I'd be able to upgrade Leopold to Blake in a few days... If I go to Weight, I'd only upgrade as far as Sopel....
Any thoughts from the gallery?

Bookie also have a look at Richards and Handzus.Blake would be a better pick up than Sopel although Chara has been hot lately too and Ottawa's sched after the break is very solid. Just throwing out a few more options for you to make your choice more difficult.

tommy, blake is clearly a better pickup than sopel.. My point was in order to get blake, I have to really cheap up center and go to Ribeiro in order to comfortably afford my D men of Pronger, Souray and ????? Blake if I go to Ribeiro... Sopel if I go to anyone else.... than after a few more million in gains, I'd go Sopel -> Chara/Blake.....

Well I think Weight will outpoint Ribiero just my opinion I know St. Louis hs been cold but they should turn it around sometime soon. Ribiero is also at pretty much the max for money gains. I also think Sopel will gain more over Blake right now and the 4 games to 2 in the next week will probably outpoint Blake too. So in my opinion Weight / Sopel is a better option than Ribiero/ Blake for cash and points.

Bookie - I would think that going to Sopel and Weight is the best option for now, and then moving to Blake later (next batch of trades) and whatever move you have to make to get him at that point, is the best option.

I moved Sakic and Hejduk to Weight and Murray..... The blues have some tough opponents coming up, so I didn't want to have 3 blues (Tkachuk, Weight and Pronger)...
My decision now, is what if anything to do with Leopold on D... I have 2.5 to 3 million that I could use to upgrade... So do I hold Leopold until I can afford Blake... or do I go up to Sopel for now and get Blake later...

Thinking of trading out of Doug Weight.. The blues are just ice cold right now... If I pull the trigger, the two most likely candidates are Sakic or Ribeiro.... I could barely afford Thortnon, but I like to keep a little bit of cash on hand as contingency for my next trade... which might be Savard, if he and the thrash don't soon show a little offense...

Yeah Pronger has been a real bust so far for me. SInce I've picked him up he's gotten a grand total of -22 in the last 5 games. I think I'll hold him and Wieght until the break then I'm looking at Sundin and either Chara or Redden as replacements for both.

Just Hejduk -> Forsberg for me, a bit lateral but in the long run Forsberg is the obvious hold. Thought about Pronger -> Redden or Kubina, but don't like Redden's next two games and Kubina I'm still not sold on. I'll hold Pronger to the break, giving him two games to DO something. Then he's a goner.

Pronger did actually score some positive points, but was +/- -2 again. Until St. Louis gets their stuff together, I can use that money better elsewhere.

Two trades:
D upgrade: Suchy --> Redden Currently have Sopel, Souray and Redden and am thinking that could hold me for the duration, barring significant increments in my cash position.
Center upgrade: Richards --> Sakic Thinking Richards streak is done, and going for a more prolific scorer on a more prolific team. Anticipated price gains for Joe today, too.

All 5 teams hovering around 200. My trading will slow down after the break; planning to hold my AVS (Sakic, Forsberg, Tanguay) and my D-men (Souray, Slegr, and Redden) until middle of March; I will get my trade bank up to 6 - 8 by the end of February.

I had a 535 night, and am now in 8th in our ESD division, thereby contributing to our efforts to be in first in the league race. Alas, we are about 900 back of pucka. How are not in first? Well, we have about 30% of the season remaining, so we have time, but goldang it, we must achieve this goal. Too bad my other team is in an auto-div, the one managed by bookie. His team is about 1500 points of mine, which more than makes up the difference of pucka's advantage over us in the league standings. Next year, bookie's team goes in the ESD division. He beat me out last year and is kicking my butt this year!

Next year I think bookie is going to pay for his own teams, so I could put one in the ESD... As it stands though, i just wanted to keep winning divisions, so that it'd pay you back for the entry fee.... ;->

I would have went into ESD but its so competitive that I wanted all 3 of my teams to win the division. Next year I will put one in if my wife doesn't kill me from to much hockey.
