Good job guys, I am in the forum league and we thought that we had it won in the begining of the season. You proved us wrong, we seem to have only 4 or 5 really good players. H3S, myself, panchovilla, rtl. For our team to compete we will need better performances from others. again great job

Ouch, back to 14th place in the division, just outside of the top 200 WWR, serious competition. There should be some serious point scoring tonight.

serious pt scoring was right. 2 SO's in one night is nice, especially when one comes from a 500k goalie.

A horrible night for the top divisions, less than a thousand points for ESDNHL's top 10 and we will still gain 700 points.

Tomorrow we should have 9 teams in the top 100, pretty impressive. A bunch more moving up there as well.

Another big night, should be 13 teams in the top 120 (about 40 points out of the top 100), second place team should have the day's high score, another 1000 point gain for the division, well done.

11 teams in the top 100, Aronsjokullarna Oilers with the high score of the day moves on in. Lost a little ground in the top division race however.

I don't know that "competitive" is the right word. :) I'm sitting at 171 WWR and am 14th in this division. I'd be at least 7th in any other division out there, yet in this division 7th place is at a 37 WWR. That's insane.

A nice finish before the Olympic break, I think we gained about 1000 points tonight on both second and third place. Seven teams in the top 50, seven more teams battling for the last three places in the top 10 in this division.

Samuli's pre-break trading spree should have helped the cause considerably tonight.

I'm not in this division so I was unable to follow Samuli's progress. Anyone want to explain to me exactly how he managed to save so many trades and still have so much tsnp and tsnd ?

Every team but one in our division was over 300 points tonight, Samuli definitely leading the way (approaching 700). Only two or three teams from the competition exceeded 300.

At the break, 7 teams in the top 50 for TSNP, 7 teams in the top 60 for TSND as well.

Because he went on a team vacation at the same time when a lot of the other guys who were near the top had similar (top 15 RV) and (top 50 WWR). He didn't use trades for a couple of weeks, and although he lost out on some RV, he didn't lose out too much on points because he had some solid guys I guess. Now he has a bunch of trades and the 8-10 mil he lost doesn't really matter this year so he will be a big factor.

Not exactly the pre-break boost I was angling for, but 59th at the break is ok I guess. Would just be nice to finish top 10 here and top 50 overall.

Due to a family-emergency I will be largely unable to keep an eye on my boys up until 14th of march, will leave to Central Jawa tomorrow where the internet cafes are few and far between and usually painfully slow. Hence, let's have a show of hands, would anyone volunteer to team-sit my roster for a couple of weeks? I'll make a list of obvious trades to carry out, so the actual task would be to deal with the injuries. Drop me an email if you're willing to help me out. Thanks in advance.

Hmmm ok, my mailbox is not exactly flooding if you catch my drift. =) Well I guess I'll be conserving some more trades then. I'm off now but if someone feels like giving me a hand, drop a note as I'll probably be able to check my email tomorrow and/or on friday.

Ta ta.

I hadn't checked in at all given the break. Sorry samuli! Hopefully you find an internet cafe before hockey starts back up.

The AIM crowd is usually pretty good at helping run a team, so its in good hands with the Dr.

Good and bad, we are now +12000 points up in the division, unfortunately, still have not heard from samuli, his team looks like it could use a move or two in the coming days.

If he checks in maybe it's not too late.

Samuli should be back tomorrow, his team has done well in his absense, moving ahead of SW today into 14th, unbelievable. Maybe it really is best to just hold in the absense of injuries.

As a division we are up to 9 teams in the top 60, 4 more in the top 100, and another 4 in the top 200. Goaldiggers back to #1 in both TSNP and RV, a great year.

Seriously, I left for a week, my team held steady and gained some trades back.....then I came back and screwed it up again.

It's just really tough to get any movement because RV is absoultely no factor. The same thing happened in baseball this past year as my RV was not a factor down the stretch and I couldn't make up the last couple of places once I fell behind. But I don't know, going for the RV by making the trades that most make sense is just the way I know how to play.

I don't know which is more amazing:

- samuli's team continuing to excel while he's away
- ESDNHL being nearly 13K points ahead of second
- 9(!) of the top 10 in RV being in this division

Wow. Just wow.

Err, screwup in post 100 - 9 of the top 10 in RV are Gurupies, not ESDNHLers. 5 in the top 25 and 8 in the top 50 for us is still pretty impressive.

Does anybody find it absolutely insane that samuli is sitting up there in the top 10 (well, until tonights totals update) with 23 (soon to be 28) trades? It just looks a bit funny up there on the leaderboard.

Good job to everyone, I look forward to starting the ESDNHL again next fall. I'm not exactly sure how many years we've won the top league, but it's a few.

It was unfortunate that we lost Samuli, I hope he is well, I don't think he has been heard from since he left on his trip.

Enjoy the playoffs, they will likely be short for my Oilers but better than nothing.

Congrats to Kartigen Capitals and everyone else in the division, especially those who played to the end.

I had a lot of fun this year. This division is really tough. I got off to a bad start and tried to differentiate to make up the difference, but it didn't work out. My ESDNHL team still finished 196 overall, but did not make the top 10 in the division.

The good news is that I had three other teams in the top 100 and one that finshed 22nd overall. I will also be sending a donation to Guru for the upkeep on the site.
