Subject: Yahoo Fantasy Hockey League Sign Up!!!

Leave your email here, and we can get started sometime soon!
The only thing we really need to work out is the games played by the Goalies minimum.
RULES
15 Teams
Roster Size: 3 C, 3 LW, 3 RW, 5 Defense, 2 Goalies and 5 Bench for a 21 Man Roster.
Categories:
Skaters: G, A, +/-, SOG, PIM, PPP
Goalies: W, Sv%, GAA, SHO
That leaves 6 Categories for Offense and 4 for Goalies.
No keepers.
Minimum amount of Games Played by Goalies. (Games Played TBD)
Tiered Roto style Point System. 15 Points for leading a category, and then one less for each position thereafter.
Snake Style Draft, with rookies included.
If you want a roster position held for a rookie not yet included in the Yahoo Database, you can draft that player, but then you must make a public announcement at the start of the league, and then keep a roster spot empty for that player until you can include him on your actual roster.

If we get things set up and running today, we can unofficially start the draft anytime, and then officially start the clock tomorrow morning at 9.

Info sent to KKB to set up the draft for us. I will post here when it is all set up. You will then need to go to our yahoo game site to get the log in info for the draft. Should be early evening tonight.
I will randomize the draft order after everyone signs up and we will be ready to go.

Damn--was out of town this weekend and didn't catch up to this thread until today. I'd have covered the fee myself if I'd caught it. KKB hosts my web site and I'd just have thrown in the extra $10 into my hosting costs. A tax writeoff, as well.

I would definately add KKB nobody other than Guru does so much for fantasy sports and helping us out. ( Dave R is in there too)
draft info is now on the yahoo website. Register and we can start drafting when everyone is there. Please use the same name or post here so I know who is not yet registered.

Actually, I've been moving into a new house. Been a bit of a time consumer (both mentally and physically). ;)

I think when all is said and done we should still announce an official ''start time'' so that we are all on the same page as to when we are kicking this off .
This way , the people with the first few will know when to be ready etc..etc..

I agree wtih #108. AFTER everybody is signed up, we either need to...
1. Announce a start time in the future so that everybody can make sure they know when it will start, or...
2. Set the clock to "No Time Limit" to start and then adjust as needed.
We still have a loooooooooooooong time before the season starts. The first game is over a month away and I'm currently in a football draft that just started last week (2 weeks before the start of the season). No need to get in a rush and then sit around and adjust our lineups for 2 weeks, waiting for the season to start.

everyone is in and league draft has started. At this time I do not have a clock running. I know I will be away for Labor Day weekend and it is my intention to run with no clock until after the weekend. Then we can start with a 4 or 6 hour clock.
