I'll be going full bore opening night... I think i've got a roster in place that can work, but the preseason will obviously dictate what i start with for real on Oct. 5...

Probably a few days late here, maybe a week. I definitely want to see how the first few days shapes up before picking anyone up. Being able to watch the first game on TV will tell me just how much of the new rules will be called, and how it will affect things...

If it's anything like this, get your PP lined up. It's a bit of a long video.

No day/week late team here either... I've been waiting a full year for playing this game I'm not going to miss any days even if it cost some money in the process....
I've already build a team wich look like this :
Centers Team Next Game* Sell For: Lecavalier, Vincent TB 10/5 CAR $6,820,000 Spezza, Jason OTT 10/5 TOR $5,440,000 Antropov, Nik TOR 10/5 OTT $3,160,000 Wingers Team Next Game* Sell For: Heatley, Dany ATL 10/5 FLA $6,000,000 Kovalev, Alexei MON 10/5 PHI $5,000,000 Selanne, Teemu COL 10/5 EDM $3,570,000 Hemsky, Ales EDM 10/5 COL $2,730,000 Defensemen Team Next Game* Sell For: Gonchar, Sergei PIT 10/5 CLS $4,620,000 Dandenault, Mathieu DET 10/5 STL $1,650,000 Ozolinsh, Sandis ANA 10/5 CHI $1,430,000 Goalies Team Next Game* Sell For: Lehtonen, Kari ATL 10/5 FLA $4,500,000 Garon, Mathieu LA 10/5 BOS $4,500,000
I'm not completely please with my team, probably Heatley will go but for who, this leaves me with 580K in the bank wich is not much, I would prefer to hate 1.5 Million to give me more flexibility...

I like Garon at 4.5 and Gonchar at 4.6 should be a steal and must have if he does what we know he can.

A rough opening sched might take Gonch out of some managers plans early on. Bit i like Garon too.

Thats true, although Gonchar is pretty much a buy and hold type if you go that route. Using trades on D isn't a good idea early on. How long is his schedule bad for?

Hmm, just remembered that the schedule was up on kaf. He gets 4 in 6 days to start, but then only 2 in 9 days following. Thats pretty bad, and it only becomes marginal after that stretch.

I like Cujo at 6 mil..
With Phoenix stacked this year, and Cujo pretty much the cheapest starter to Garon, that's not too shabby...
For defencemen, so far it's lookin like Marc-Andre Bergeron might be paired with Pronger this season, and would be an absolute steal.
Hemsky's gonna have a huge year too. Peca will probably be his center this season.
If we knew who was the starter for Tampa, both Grahaeme and Burke are dirty cheap. Looks like they'll be splitting time though, so that's a damn shame.
Horcoff's gonna be between Dvorak and Smyth this season.

How about Palffy and Nash as wingers? I think Palffy might be a steal depending on what line he plays on, and if he stays healthy.
Also, who's the better choice... Garon or Lehtonen?

I'm not ok with putting up my team on rotoguru this early in the game. It could give out strategies and good bets on palyers !
All that said, Garon is a great pick up for a goaltender.

OK, I flushed Gonchar and went to Jovanovsky from Vancouver, they have a really nice schedule, no B2B and 3 or 4 days break in their schedule until the end of October....
I don't really like Cujo, Gretzky keeps saying that the hot keeper will be in the net....
Bettwen Garon and Lethonen, I'd go with Lethonen, I think he has a better team in front of him...
Dont be shy cabiou give us your little secrets...

Who's gonna be Columbus' #1 center this year? Hrdina?
Could be a steal if he's put between Nash and Zherdev..
How many games are people expecting Lehtonen and Osgood to start this season?

"According to Matt Paulson of the EV Tribune (who has been covering much of the Coyotes pre-season) Gretzky has stated that Tyson Nash, Mike Ricci, and Boyd Devereaux will be the the checking line. Ladislav Nagy and Mike Johnson will be on the same line. They are looking at a top line of Mike Leclerc, Petr Nedved, and Shane Doan. That leaves Mike Comrie and Mike Rupp as the canidates to center Johnson and Nagy or Saprykin and Hull. Wayne's direct quote in the article is, "We kind of have some parts of the puzzle sort of etched in stone, and we've got alot of things that are sort of up in the air.""
If Leclerc is on a top line with Nedved and Doan, he could be worth looking in to..
