Right now I got
C Langkow, Daymond $4,790,000
W Gagne, Simon $4,890,000 W Ovechkin, Alexander $4,470,000
D Tarnstrom, Dick $3,640,000 D Carney, Keith $930,000
G Legace, Manny $5,220,000
EA Malone, Ryan $3,750,000
With 2.5 in the bank. I wanna work in Crosby but I'm scared of 3 PIT players on one team. I was also thinking of upgrading Carney. Any help or suggestions would be great.

well, IMO, Crosby would be a bad pick...after his game Today against BUF, he only plays again on fri(PHI), sat(TB), and then has another 4 days off until the thursday the 20th(NJ).
So, 4 game in 10 days (including today's) is not so good.
but that's just they way I look at things...maximize games in a trade period...

The team looks good on paper, but the schedules tell another story. Gagne and Ovechkin both have big gaps in their schedule this week, with Gagne's being a huge 6-day hole. There's no reason to hold for that, you can come back to him after. Malone too should go for schedule reasons. I suppose holding 1 of them threw the bad period is ok, but not 2 or 3 imho.

Not sure of your trade situation, but in future years you should realy try to start off with more players with better schedules.
A big example of this was Philly this year. They were probably the worst team in the entire league to start off with, unless you were planning on using a trade.
