0 Subject: Week 10 trades??

Only person I really must move is Savard. Tkachuk is looking sexy, might have to work him into the lineup. I know Auld is gonna make a ton of money.....but Gerber is doing so well for me.

A bit of a dilemma for me. I have two options avialable. Due to RV limitations I can not manage to have both Thornton and Forsberg on my roster at the same time without making more than 3 trades. It's either Marleau and Forsberg or Thornton and Sakic/Marleau
My options are
Fri:
Savard>Marleau or Savard>Thornton
Gionta>Tkachuk
Sun:
Staal>Forsberg or Staal>Sakic or Marleau

Plenty of time to think it thru.

In retrospect aulding Auld auld the way saved me a trade.

Went Kovalchuk -> Selanne and Niittymaki -> Auld yesterday before the freeze. Still need to figure out what to do with centers this week.

With Spezza day to day, and already having taken the blunt of the $$$ hit andOttawa having a nice sched, and Spezza being nearly a ' can't can't have' player, does anybody that went tradeless before the shit hit the fan actually thinking about holding him?

Hi CrazyClowns. I have 2 teams. One of those teams fits your description: I have Spezza and was unable to sell him and am now debating that very (non-)move.

I have Sakic, Spezza and Savard.

Savard --> Joe Thornton on Dec. 16.

Sakic has 2 days off and then a nice 5 in 7, but he averages only 35 ppg and I am not thrilled by his mediocre output for his high price.

Forsberg has 5 games starting now before the 24th of the month.

Ideally, I want Spezza, Forsberg and Thorton on my team, but am not sure if holding Spezza makes sense given his uncertain status.

The immediate decision for this team of mine today is Spezza --> Forsberg. Alternatively, I could move Sakic --> Forsberg and hold Spezza. The hope would be for Spezza to come back on Dec. 17th and resume his high production. Forsberg and Thorton are producing at a much higher clip than Sakic. However, a non-playing Spezza is not good and Sakic could of course increase his production, and a 5 in 7 is hard to trade out of.

2 trades leftover

Team 2:

3 trades leftover

On my Basic team today:
Niitty > Auld

Tomorrow:
Savard > Thornton/Marleau
Kovalchuk > Tkachuk

sitting tight on Hasek and Grahame in the interest of conserving trades despite the easy money in Auld.

He's got some tough teams coming up, and I wouldn't be surprised if VAN traded for a new #1 goalie.

Grahame's schedule is just as good as Auld's except for one or two B2Bs, and Tampa's been a pretty hot team lately.

I just don't see the need to spend a trade; I'm holding.

Thursday:
Hasek = > Auld (hmmm...maybe I should have thought this oen through)

Spezza => Lecavalier

Friday:
Kovalchuk = > Tkachuk
Staal => Sakic

Kovalchuk has to go, while Staal hasnt been making the job.

Auld is a long term option for so cheap, I couldnt pass on the opportunity.

If only Spezza would have got a single pts, at least I didn't trade him yesterday so I'm hoping for a huge night for the battle of Ontario....

This morning:

Savard => Big Joe
Datsyuk => Demitra
Kovalchuk => Tkachuk

Savard to Thorton
Datsyuk to Demitra?
Heatley/Gaborik to Tkachuk I am not sure which one will go. I am leaning towards Heatley because he is so highly owned.
I am debating btween Demitra and Weight from Datsyuk as well, but I think it will be Demitra.....

Savard --> Thornton
Valchuk --> Kachuk

No points to be gained on anyone by doing this but it'll make some money etc. Now have to decide whether to go Datsyuk --> Spezza tomorrow or later.

So it looks like about 3500 owners will be holding Tkachuk at the freeze tonight, but I'm not one of them. It's St. Louis for crying out loud! Guess we'll see how wrong I am soon enough...

Gaborik => Lethinen I could miss Dallas Sched for the next 2-3 weeks....

That leaves me without any trade again on a Sunday so I'm praying for no more injury... Next trades I want to upgrade my D and change Brodeur to Turco...

I have one trade left and currently have Gaborik on my team. To trade or not to trade. I am currently on a good run...but still 31st in the Division.

Without Gaborik, I would have 6.8 mil spare.

So who would you propose, that is if you suggest me to trade ?

Gagne should be back on Thursday night he could be a good option but you would not gain any game from him...

Gaborik faces Colorado 2 time before X-Mas
Gagne plays Ottawa and Pitts before X-Mas but after X-Mas Philly plays 10 strait games on the road!!!

I could also suggest Tanguay or Svatos from Colorado or you could go with Kariya or Sullivan from Nash...

I'd reccommend Sullivan if you have to move Gaborik. If not now, then on the 27th for that nasty 10-in-16 for Nashville. Otherwise, you could pick worse times to hold that extra trade.
