Does anyone know what happens if both Carolina and Buffalo sweep their series?
When would the conference finals start? Would they still wait until after when Game 7 would've been?
Would they start immediately?
Would they wait for the Western Conference to catch up? |

I am pretty sure that they would wait until the Western conference games finished. Carolina and NJ don't play game 4 until Saturday, so there probably wouldn't be much of a wait anyway.

I heard on the radio that the Eastern Conference final will start on Thursday.

I couldn't find any news on NHL.com.
Ticketmaster has the date as TBA.
The only reference that I could find on the net was on tsn.ca, which said "Sabres coach Lindy Ruff on Monday ruled out any possibility of Kalinin playing when the best-of-seven series is expected to open at Carolina this weekend."
I would expect an announcement soon.

Thanks! I'm guessing that each series will go every other day?
And if so, Western Conference Finals Game #5 or 6 would be on Saturday, I would think NBC would force them to have that game earlier in the day, no?
