Since I'm wrapping up my 3rd straight stint in RIBC, I'm looking for a bit of a fun hockey league that doesn't require quite as much thought... oh, and one that has a FA market. ;)
If you're interested, send me a message through Kafenatid.net and let me know who you are and I'll send the info. Though this is just a fun league, I do want to have managers that are active.

Looks like Rick007 is #10.
Moose, I'd rather leave it at 10 to keep the FA market active. I like the idea of struggling over dropping someone you wouldn't otherwise drop. Plus, it would be a complete deviation from RIBC. ;)
If you get STRONG interest from someone else, I'll reconsider.

Okay, we have our 10 people. I'm thinking of setting up the draft as follows...
1. Random order
2. "Start" the draft Friday, Sept. 15 at (approximately) 8 am, with no clock.
3. Start a 4 hour clock on Monday, Sept. 18 at (approximately) 8 am.
4. Draft Pauses...
Weekday: 11 pm to 9 am
Weekend: Friday, 11 pm to Monday, 9 am
If we have any West Coasters, I'll adjust the Draft Pauses to take that into account. If anybody has any objections, please let me know.
In the meantime, please be sure to register an account over at Kafenatid.net so that when I set up the league, you'll be ready to go. I'll post here when I send out the draft signup info.

Draft has (unofficially) started. There is currently no time limit and NO pressure to pick. Please, no messages stating, "It's been xx hours since ________ picked! It's time to skip their pick!" because I will just ignore you.
The draft has been started just as a matter of convenience at this point in time; it will officially start on Monday morning, complete with a clock.

HELP!!!
I tried to turn off my queue as the draft was coming to me...but picks were made out of my queues anyway. I intended to take Gonchar and Hejduck instead of Lupul and Rolston.
Can anyone fix this for me please. I am on the road and computer/internet challanged.

As a head's up, we're currently on pace to finish the draft on Oct. 1, 2:28:20 pm. However, that estimate DOES take into account the "unofficial" start, so we're definitely ahead of that pace.
In short, keep up the good drafting and don't worry too much if you're away from the computer for a bit during the weekend. :)
