I've been offered M. StLouis and T.Thomas (G-Bos) for Martin Havlat, and I would have to drop Sean Burke who's NA anyway. This would leave me with LW's of L. Nagy and J. Blake. Is this a beneficial trade for me? I'm rather new to hockey and any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!!!! |

Free advice is worth what it costs...if you are lucky. Havlat is suppose to be a super demon for the Blackhawks this year and quality LW's are hard to find, especially in yahoo. Thomas had a great preseson, but is slated for share the G starts and StLouis had a down year in 2005, but has potential upside.
W/O seeing the rest of your team and the league set up (number of teams, the scoring system, number players per position) any answer you get is unfounded. My personal general rule is never will two average players never equal a super star. There are exceptions...like when you have no goalie and baby diapers are better than what's on the free agent list.

Thanks for the help!!! I checked into available free agent LW in my Yahoo Public league and there were almost none left. With Burke NA, should I drop him for someone like Kolzig or Nabokov? My other G's are C. Ward and M.Garon.
My team-C's Thornton, Rolston LW's Nagy, Havlat RW's Iginla, A. Carter D's Niedermeyer, P.Boucher, T.Preissing, and C. Rivet BN Langkow, Sillinger, Blake (NYI) G's Ward, Biron, Burke
How'd I do? Thanks again!!!
