Eaves has 3 games in the next 13 days - worst schedule in the league. I'm dumping him after his game tomorrow (unless I dump him today).

Penner
Radijovec
Wellwood

jump out from the super cheapie range that are probably unowned.

I agree on Wellwood (great since I have him).

Carle
Bernier
Michalek

Maybe whitney (not the greatest schedule, but still better than Ott or Buff)

Eaves won't make $$$ based on schedule.

Hey All,
Quick question.
I haven't played Hockey since back in the Smallworld free days.
Is it too late for me to be competitive if I were to put in one Ultimate Team starting today?

Opinions wanted.

Thanks All.

No, you can start today. Talk to me on AIM if you need help.

I know a lot of people who don't even have a primary team that has begun accumulating points yet, but still intend on starting soon.

GoatLocker, I have a blank team. I'm debating whether to wait it out until Sunday (wait for the movement for RV) or put in it now based on players from the following teams.

Vancouver, Florida, Los Angeles, Rangers, Atl, SJ, Pho, and TO

Vancouver, Atlanta, NYR, SJ and TO have already played and you could get some good RV gains based on the players. ie. Salo, Naslund, Sedin, McCarthy, Prucha, Thornton, Michalek, Bernier, Carle, Nagy, Reinprecht, Wellwood. etc.

LA and FLA have yet to play. Player selections for these 2 teams would be done based on preseason and price.

I'm almost talking myself into putting in another team based on some of those performances.
But then again a 2nd game is the great equalizer, just look at Eaves and Raycroft.
Eaves - Stud night to dud night
Raycroft - dud night to stud night.

probably some i've forgotten but that's what jumps out at me

Well, if you do it, remember the name Anzi Kopitar. 19yr old rookie for LA, 2 goals in his first game, looks really good!!!!

Kopitar played on a line with Frolov and led all forwards in PP time. Very interesting.

I drafted O'Sullivan from LA, and it looks like this Kopitar kid is the cheapie LA center to have. 22 min, 7 PP min, compared to 11 min, 2 PP min. Ah well, can't get em all right. :) Definitely an early train candidate. Wellwood is too if he can put together another big game.

Thanks Donnie.
Decided to join the rest of you crazies.
Had tickets to see the Kings Preseason game in Vegas, but didn't happen since my better half was in the hospital.

I saw a little of the Kings game last night. Kopitar was definitely getting some good shifts.

Now I saw the stats on Zac Parise in NJ, guess he is interesting.
And as it seems Rangers are popular - Nylander has already started his $$ gain... is that really going to continue?
