Well, everyone's worst fear happened to me.
So I decided to trade Danny Briere on the 9th for a Florida center. Right away I took Jokinen. They realizing I had less than a mil left in the bank, I undid the trade and opted for a much cheaper, yet seemingly equal Nathan Horton.
4 point night and 138 TSNP difference tonight.
Anywho:
Saturday- Bernier>Havlat
Still wondering what to do with Lehtonen. After a 4 day break he's got a great schedule. Also debating Gaborik>Sullivan on Sunday.

You'll probably think I'm out of my mind but I suggest you trade Bernier for Havlat right now.

Well I would have suggested it 2 days ago if I knew that would be your eventual move and you had the trade(s) left for it.

This morning did Forsberg to Legwand, I'm still debating with myself about going to Sydor from McCarthy I'm not sure I want to burn a trade on D this early in the game....
Now what to do with Lethonen, if a drop occurs it should be huge cause he's widely hown...

Interesting move with Thornton. I was planning to save my money and get the (dynamic) duo of Kovalchuk and Hossa.

I think I'm going to hold on to Foppa and use the trade when I'll need it more.
Once I move Gaborik and Lehtonen after Saturday's games, I'll only have 1 trade left..

If you planned on moving Gaborik anyways, you might as well have went Gaborik --> Havlat, and held onto Bernier. That would have saved you a trade. Well at least that's what I would have done.

Oh, well I was talking about keeping Bernier throughout. If you are still gonna sell Bernier, well then that's not saving a trade at all.

I wasn't planning on saving a trade instead of selling Bernier..

Well I guess I was secretly suggesting you do save a trade since you said you were forced to keep Forsberg :)

KoGs,
Yea I hear ya. I just don't wanna get another NJ player since I already have 2 Chicago guys and sell date for ALL of them is Oct 22nd. I'm just going with that for now. I'd like to add Atl guys on the 19th, but I probably won't be able to afford them.
I'm trying to use the cheaper wings and move them around at least for now. I can't really afford 8 mil wingers. I'm just going to use Canucks instead.

Anyone catch Derek Roy's numbers tonight? 2Gs on 2 SOGs (very efficient!) and +5 in only 15:35. If anyone had him, you get a respectful tip 'o the cap.

Perm Dude: I had Briere on one of my teams. I couldn't believe it was a 9-1 game and he was under 50 TSNP. Hell, almost all of the D men scored more TSNP than Briere did. :)
