Copy and pasting my thoughts because the forum is kinda dead:
Here's how I'm looking at things.
I like Anaheim as a decent swap from Chicago players after their B2B. Moving Chicago guys now is okay if you are getting equal games, but I don't have a combination that works so I'm not doing it.
I'm not sure what's going on with the lines in Anaheim. On one front it looks like Kunitz is outstanding, but now I'm seeing that Penner is now back to line 1 and PP? Also Getzlaf isn't too bad since schedules for most teams, suck.
I have no way of affording Hossa, so I might go with Kozlov in a couple of days, we'll see. Maybe something else.
I'm going to write out yet ANOTHER map so I can use it to remember things as this might be a hazy weekend.
Option 1: Thornton Handzus > Penner (10/22 fits nicely) Kopitar > Wellwood (tommorrow)
Ilya Sedin > Havlat (10/28 Havlat > Kozlov, Kunitz, Selanne, SJ dude, Bertuzzi, etc under about 7.5 mil (10/22) Bernier
Salo Erhroff McCarthy
Lehtonen Auld
Option 2: Thornton Handzus (hold him until November 2nd due to a lack of center options I like, plus the fact that Handzus sell date will be OVERWHELMED by Havlat which may dampen the hits quite a bit) Kopitar > Wellwood (tommorrow)
Ilya Sedin > Havlat 10/28 Havlat > guy in the cheaper range (Kunitz?). Won't even be able to afford Kozlov in this case. Bernier
G and D the same
Option 1 uses 1 more trade, avoid's Handzus selloff, allows me a better W from Havlat.
Things I've realized over the past few days.
1a) As much as I like someone like Higgins, I can't pass up Kopitar > Wellwood on this (my regular) team. The schedules for so many teams are AWFUL compared to the few good ones. Kopitar > Wellwood is like a puzzle for my team with no cash in the bank.
1b) That said, for people with teams that DO have something in the bank. I think that Kopitar > Drury or Briere for a 9 day hold can be done if there aren't huge trade issues. On my day late team, I intend to do this since I have Wellwood.
2) Anaheim depends on many things. They are going to more of a balance in their lines which could be all good, or could be not so good. If Penner is in the right situation, and we may know more in a couple days, he is better than Metropolit. He is better than Weiss. He becomes the best CHEAP center. But, it may be Kunitz alongside Selanne as it was earlier in the season. If that's the case, then Penner become kinda crappy, and Kunitz becomes a real option from Havlat on the 22nd.
3) Most of these schedules absolutely blow. Atlanta's schedule is almost the best I have ever seen, relative to the rest of the league. Starting today it's 12 in 21! It does go longer than that as well, but even just taking these 3 particular weeks the 2nd best schedule is 10 games by only SJ and Tor. I'm not going to do a leaguewide average, but it's about 3 games better than average by just using an eyeball test.

sullivan > kovalchuk - I'll follow the money for now and get the points later. Never works but I'm stubborn. Was going to get Hossa but I figure I could upgrade a center with the money saved not getting Hossa. Turco > lehtonen - Once again $. I picked Leht's up from day 1 and he's been solid GOLD. Sydor > Mccarthy - Sydor was a mistake, chasing $360,000 was not worth it. I regret making 2 trades on D.
Future: Havlat > Kunitz, or maybe Tucker.
I'm not 100% about picking up Havlat until the end of November. Although money trains could convice me otherwise. I'm looking at the Hawks next series of games and Chicago's travel schedule is convincing me to be wary. West coast to East coast travel.
As I type I see that Hossa has a goal, assist, 3 shots. Kovalchuk 1a 1 shot. Calgary is losing to Boston.

Kovalchuk, Hossa, Lehtonen are on all my teams now. Was hoping they could average 200 points a game between the 3 of them. Looks like they got more than that today.

Wellwood is on line 1 with Sundin and gets the PP time.
I might hold back on Kopy > Wellwood. Kopy finally came alive last night and after his 2 day gap, he goes 5 in 7!
Not sure on this one. If Wellwood was seeing major cash, the trade would be done right now, but I don't see it yet.

Kopitar is a big question mark. He's going to hake a hit today, circa 100k, but things should stabilize quickly due to yesterday's game. If he's going to be productive, no problem, especially with the 5 in 7 as Smallwhirled mentioned. OTOH, the string of really ordinary games is cause for concern.
Still debating whether to go Kopitar=>Briere today, who also has a 5 in 9 starting today (as Kopitar does, if you look at it this way). I hate to trade without having positive net games though.
Sunday, Gaborik=>??? Havlat=>???
Looking to add another Atlanta W (already have Kovalchuk) and possibly SJ or Anaheim (Michalek, Kunitz?)

Looking at schedule, having Lehtonen between the pipes, I like
Auld=>Roloson after friday's game (or today if Auld does not start against Philly).
DET, PHO @ANA, @PHO, WAS
Pretty weak schedule, Markannen should either start the 2nd or 3 game.

from rotoworld :
Coach Paul Maurice is looking to change up his entire lineup, and that includes moving Darcy Tucker from the top line.
Maurice is simply trying to find the right combinations to jump-start the play of his team, which has struggled of late. He likes certain pairings, including Kyle Wellwood with Mats Sundin, Matt Stajan with Alexei Ponikarovsky, and Mike Peca with Chad Kilger. That means that players like Tucker and Alexander Steen could be shuffled. The most likely scenario would see Steen shift up with Sundin and Tucker drop back to the Stajan line. Keep an eye on Steen's play, as he does have offensive talent. Tucker's play should be similar regardless of where he plays, as his goals are generally done through sheer tenacity.

I had to change things a little...
Morrow => Kunitz Kronwall => Niedermayer
This leaves me with 1 trade and 2 millions in the bank to trade away Auld when I found a replacement..

Oh no. I am $20,000 short of going Briere ---> Marleau. And this is only because I only thought of doing it today. If I thought of it yesterday, I would of have enough as yesterday Briere gained $10,000 but Marleau gained $40,000.

Strong sched for Sundin over the next two weeks. I would have gone Briere=>Sundin too, but lacked a couple hundred thous, so settled for Wellwood, who has nice $$$ potential as well, especially on this light trading day and no obvious sell off.

I was actually only planning to hold Sundin for 7-10 days. Because next week it's Malkin time. Unless of course I have enough money, then I will go Wellwood --> Malkin.

The Leafs did score twice in that game, for the record.
So what's up with Eaves? Do I want him now?

I would wait on Eaves. Ottawa has a 1 in 6 starting on Sunday. If he still looks good on Nov 4, I would consider him then.
