I'm sure most of your teams look similar to mine , full of long term holds (ATL, SJ, TOR, etc). Do we take this opportunity to hold trades, or do we start looking for short 3-in-4 guys? I already have a ton of trades (8) in the ESDNHL division lol.

Thinking about Briere to Semin on my Basic team. The plan would be to go back to a Buffalo guy on 11/09, (or possibly keep Semin if he's still lighting it up at the current rate)

2.5 weeks... sounds like a short term hold to me on my Basic team. :)

It's very rare indeed when I will look at a short term buy. Definitely to early for me.

That said, some of the players I buy become short term holds, but that another story.

I think we are all hyped up because of last years olympic schedule, when no schedule were bad. Some teams were playing 4+ games a week...

This years beginning schedule, only a few teams per week have good schedule. For some teams, it might take a while before we pick some of their players.

But if you look at the schedule in mid november, you will see that most of the teams have a great schedule. So thats when the differenciation
pick comes in to play !
