I now know how those people who use all 5 of their trades as soon as they come out feel.
Jagr, Hossa, Nylander, Weber, Kovalchuk

my goalie situation is pissing me off
traded for Roloson, who got pulled in his next 2 games, which made me trade him to Huet. Huet gets pulled that night, while Roli gets a shutout. Now Aebischer played tonight and only let in 2 goals. I don't know what to do.. trade to Lundqvist?
Just went Lindros>Nylander, Heatley>Jagr
Kunitz had a big night tonight, so I'll keep him on for a while..

Aebischer played last night because Montreal has a B2B, so Huet will play tonight.

Whats the deal on Havlat : What are the chances ?
From Rotoworld: Martin Havlat could be back in the lineup on Thursday.
If not on Thursday, it's a pretty safe bet that Havlat will return on the weekend. The Blackhawks really miss Havlat who led the NHL in points before getting hurt in mid-October. Havlat has missed the last 18 games with an ankle injury and despite coach Denis Savard wanting to play Havlat as much as possible, expect Havlat to see limited duty in his first few games back. That being said, get Havlat back in your lineup as soon as possible.

how come people are moving into hossa and kovalchuk? they have a game tonight and saturday and then 1 game in 5 days. so much better options out there with the great schedules for nashville, chicago, NYR, cal, pit... the list goes on!
i moved into iginla and nylander (had to sell spezza) and am unsure if i want to switch heatley for jagr. anyone know if straka's hamstring is ok for tonights game? he was the lower cost option...

I "think" Straka is okay. One team I already had him, and on my other team I just picked him up as well. He had the same injury last game, and played, and got a point.....
Spezza > Nylander Mason > Khabi
These were my primary moves. Still debating Sully > Straka on the money team, but then I'd HAVE to sell Vanek for Havlat when the weekend comes around. I know I HAVE to sell Sullivan in the next few days, but I don't HAVE to sell Vanek. He is a play it by ear situation. I can always do Sully > Havlat on that team, like I plan on doing with my ESDNHL team....then I can hold Vanek if I feel like it (everything depends on his next 2 games, price wise).
Hossa is a buy on the 13th. They are an excellent buy that day. Problem is, nobody can afford it. My money team I have Heatley > Hossa planned on that day and can do it easily, on my ESDNHL team, I can't get Hossa.
It's not worth the extra trades blowing up some other spots just to get Hossa, even if he is 60 tsnp/gm.

Hated to do it because these guys are producing but I moved out of both Spezza and Heatley fearing a loss in RV. Spezza > Nylander across the board Heatley > Straka, Iggy, Havlat Had Jagr on a few teams so I didn't have to move him.
Hossa $8.65 & 60.4 tsnp/g Last 5 games: 4, 144, 194, 6, 96 = 89 tsnp/g. Not to shabby.

Ira, probably 8 pounds give or take a pound. I would also guess he's not going to get much sleep. Look for his production to drop and the poop to increase.

If you held Tampa Bay players through their price losses, more often than not, you're probably doing that with a lot of players and killing your RV.
Have fun with your 65 mil RV in Feb when the rest of us are over 90.

Kaberle > Boucher Sullivan > Iginla
What a huge disappointment Sully was, I knew he was an injury risk, but I thought he'd at least rack up points against all those weak teams. Instead he got consistently outscored by fourth stringer Radulov.
Malkin has also been a big disappointment lately. Gotta hold for ATL/WAS/PHI though.
Held Spezza

I was hoping I could hold Vanek through his 3 in 9 without losing heaps of money, but he just hasn't come through with the points in the last couple of games to do it.
So Vanek > Straka for me.

Souray=>Phaneuf, pending news on Souray's availability for tonight's game.
Otherwise, Pronger=>Phaneuf after his B2B
Semin=>Radulov, might undo it since Sullivan and Arnott are close to return.
Any other cheapies out there (AND NO DARN ALEXEEV!)
Otherwise,

No trades for me.... I was looking at this week with 1 trade in the bank until thursday. Was hoping not to get demolished, because my team had an average schedule. I was thinking getting hit alot more than that. Lost about 200 points on other GMs.
Now my team is looking better for the week ahead, schedule wise. Having all players on my team playing tonight (except Crosby).
I would like to use my last trade....but their are so many good schedule teams out there and my team seems alright.
Would love to jump onto columbus, detroit, colorado, calgary.... Columbus = has been playing better Detroit = so so Colorado = Only a sackic of a team Calgary = lots of good players (cheap centers)

Thought about Langkow, might still pick him up from Malkin soon. Those Calgary guys are a really nice long term hold. Sully going down with an injury may have been one of the best things to happen on my teams lately, since it forced me to pick up Iggy a bit early, just in time for his 103 and 160 TSNP games.
Took a bit of a gamble and picked up Elias on a couple teams. Not so good yesterday but we'll see how that one goes.

I'm moving Giguere for tomorrow night, but to whom:
Norrena's got a good schedule and is 142, 184, 83, -2, 85 his last 5, which is dang good. Dang good.
Hasek's more of a solid option, playing Chicago, and twice Columbus in his next four.
Then there's Mason. Cheap, solid, Blues back2back

I'm having a cheapo goalie debate myself. My piss poor RV is really beginning to hamper my personnel situation, as i can't straight up afford Phaneuf from Nummelin, being short by a few hundred K. This affects my trade from Thomas to one of either Khabibulin or Norrena. Norrena gives me enough for Phaneuf, Khabby doesn't. I like Khabby as the beter option in terms of potential RV and TSNP, but maybe Norrena is the train that's really laying in wait...
I thought i had some reserve money coming from a Crosby trade, but i really have no option but to hold for now, as he's been a one man wrecking crew, destroying everything in his path. He's got St. Louis coming in next Tuesday, likely the night he breaks Sitlers record.
