J....this not meant to be a complaint, but only a request
I know it is a lot to ask ..but this is the second (of only 4) "new game" I've missed. Monday's for me are hell .... time wise. I checked last night just as the Detroit game started ..nothing there..then I crashed awaking to another Monday work hell day.
If we could post our picks over the weekend that would be swell (of course we would have to know which night the "new game starts"..then they could be moved into the official thread. Another solution to MY problem, would be posting the official thread earlier Mybe 24-36 hours before "new games start".
I am embarrassed to be bitchin about a free game requiring your uncompensated and valuable time...but it is truly fun and enjoyable and I hate missing it (not enough to ck every 18 hours to see when/if "new game" is started). Someday I promise to learn the object is based on picking losers :>)

I'm not sure if this would help, but I use an RSS feed for the Hockey Forum to notify me of new posts. If you're using a site like Google Reader or Netvibes it's much easier to monitor for new games.

Taxman - I usually do start new games with 24 hours notice. In the last thread for Game 3, on Friday, I said the new game would start on Monday.

Embarassed and now dumb (always have been, but try not to go public with same)
Have spent the past 15 minutes reading google/wikipedia descriptions about RSS and web feeds. All new to me and I will attempt to set such up next opportunity.
Thanks Beezer

Found the following (for me it should be named RSS for Dummies) which has a straight fwd "what it is" and "how to do it" Video
J ... I remember that post...should we leave early picks for next new game in last thread of the old game??
