0 Subject: Twarpy's NHL Playoffs Pool

Okay, I have come up with a playoff pool that I think could be interesting.

The Rules:
1. Everyone is given 100 Twarpy Dollars (From this point forward TD's) per series per round to bet on one team from each series.
2. Everyone is given a bonus 200 TD's that they can distribute on bets they feel are more favourable.
3. You can only bet on one team per series (ie you are not allowed to put 100 TD's on Montreal and 100 TD's on Boston, or any other combination - all money must go on one side).

So Round 1 = 1000 TD's to play with
Conf Semis = 600 TD's
Conf Finals = 400 TD's
Finals = 300 TD's

For anyone unfamiliar with betting lines, I chose to use odds multipliers that I found online. So in the case of Montreal if you were to put 100 TD's on Montreal, you would win $125, if you were to put 100 TD's on Boston you would win $350.

Of course TD's have very little monetary value, but can be traded for BHB's (Blue Hen Bucks) $1 TD = $1000 BHB's, Blue Hen has decided to supply the prizes for this wonderful pool.

Since I suck at charts, Chartmaster J (Sounds like a rapper) will be posting a wonderful chart with all the odds in a second, which will offically launch this game.

      Wed, Apr 16, 2008, 00:37 		Ira it's for fun, and I made the decision not to include you after J asked me what to do, so put any harsh words my way. Just like other games there has to be a deadline somewhere and not even getting your picks in before day 2 is a little too much. The scoring system is pretty simple and you're more than welcome to join round 2 and keep score on how you would have done.
