Really lacking in the scoring department. I missed the live draft and this is what I ended up with.....after a few FA pickups.
It's a Yahoo Rotisserie league. I desparately need a goal scorer(s) and the other guy needs a goalie.
Here's my team: C - J.Arnott C - H.Sedin LW - P.Dupuis LW - S.Hartnell RW - J.P.Dumont RW - A.Kovalev D - K.Timonen D - S.Robidas D - J.Spacek D - T.Numminen Util - P.Bergeron Bench C - M.Nylander C - B.Richards LW - K.Huselius RW - M.Afinogenov Goalies R.Loungo M.Turco M.Fernandez ----------------------------- His Team C - E.Malkin C - M.Savard LW - M.Naslund LW - V.Prospal RW - A.Hemsky RW - J.Hudler D - A.Goigoski D - J.Leopold D - R.Blake D - N.Wallin Util - R.Nash Bench C - R.Lang C - M.Modano LW - S.Doan D - A.Volchenkov D - D.Hamhuis Goalies M.Biron J.Halak
I was thinking of trading Turco or Luongo but not sure which one.
If I trade Loungo I would ask for Malkin...or maybe a package of players including Biron.
For Turco I would want Nash + another player (Naslund?) |

I wouldn't give up Loungo or Turco unless Biron was absolutely a part of the package. It would be too fatal to your goal tending stats in the long run. With that in mind, i would target one of or a combination of the follwing players in return: Malkin, Nash, Doan, Naslund. In that order.
You'd probably have to make a multi-player proposal for this to work out evenly.

^ Thanks.
It turns out the other guy already made a deal for Fleury which included Biron. And he would include him in a deal for Luongo :o(
Not sure what I can do to save this team. Still try to move Luongo for another goalie plus a scorer?

Yeah that might be your best bet at this point, unless your free agent pool has a gem or two lying around. Actually have a real long look at it before doing anything else, IMO.
All else fails,I would use Henrik Sedin as pot sweetener if needed. He's good for almost a point per game but will do nothing for you in the goal department. His 75-80pts should yeild you a Biron type of goalie while Luongo's worth a top end elite goal scorer ala Malkin. Use those guys as barometers.
