Short version of a long story: 68% of the traffic to my Kafenatid.net site goes to the Hockey Schedule and Schedule Breakdown pages. 72% of the site traffic is related to the hockey pages in some way. Nobody's even noticed that the NFL schedule I have on the site is last year's version, but the overall site traffic for the hockey tools is good enough to keep the site up and running.

Because of that, I'm strongly considering a conversion of Kafenatid.net into a site that focuses completely on fantasy hockey tools.

Keep in mind that I probably don't have time to download and work with individual player stats. Most of what I'm likely to be able to do would be at the team level.

So, what kind of team-level fantasy hockey tools would you like to see? What's the "next level" of the Schedule and Schedule Breakdown tools? What's missing?

Things I look for is:
Starting goalies
PP-formations, 1st and 2nd.
Depth charts and line formations.

BTW, the schedule breakdown and draft manager is still great!
Thanks for keeping your site going, I'm a regular visitor, it's a shortcut to fantasy info. Keep up the good work:-)

As cobwebs already said, I think the most sought-after tool for fantasy GMs is knowing line combos & starting goalies. Leftwinglock.com is the site I find the most useful for those reasons.
I think up-to-date injury info is important as well

Unfortunately, I'm not likely to have the time necessary to add line combinations and starting goalies. There are too many sites with too many staff members for me to hope to compete with them for visitors.

One idea I had was to expand the Schedule Breakdown tool to include opponent team GAA (for skaters) and opponent team GFA (for goalies) to help indicate how easy/difficult the upcoming schedule is. A bit more info than just how many games are upcoming.

I could even work those numbers to come up with a projected team goals scored (for skaters) and projected GAA (for goalies) for the time period indicated.

Another idea I had was to add a "Include Goalie Rest for B2B Games" option to allow people to get a more accurate idea of how many starts a goalie will have in a given time period if they feel the starting goalie will be rested in one of a team's B2B games.
