Hockey time at last! I've renewed ATHS for 2015-2016 (our 14th season) and used Yahoo!'s notification system to send invitations to all managers who participated last season.
What's new, according to Yahoo!: Two-week Championship
Coming soon to head-to-head playoff settings will be the option to have a two-week championship round. This and other league settings will be open for discussion until the draft begins. |

The first attempt to renew the league did not go well; teams that joined were being recorded as filling "available" rather than "reserved" slots. I deleted the league, then went through the renewal process a second time, which should have sent new invitations to all. Five of us are on board so far.
I did email an explanation to managers Friday evening using my RoadRunner account instead of Yahoo league mail, but I'll resend invitations again, just to be on the safe side.

Recommendation for the 2016-2017 season:
Eliminate the IR position (we now have two) and replace them with IR+ (we now have one). Yahoo allows players designated as IR, Day-to-Day, or Out to occupy an IR+ slot.
