Subject: Battle of the Ages Division Posted by: GoatLocker - [456531310] Thu, Oct 05, 16:00 We did a Battle of the Ages Division in MS Baseball and it went over pretty good. There has been some discussion at the end of the Final Standings for the Division about starting a similar Division for Hockey / Hoops. I would be more than willing to set up the divisions and email the name and password to everybody if we can get enough interest. The criteria we used with MS Baseball was anybody in their teens or 20’s qualified as a youngun and anybody 30 or over qualified as an Old Fart. Those interested can drop me an email or add to the thread. We were limited to 20 in MS Baseball, but have no limits now, other than I would believe we want to keep the numbers even. Cliff | ||||||

I haven't created a division yet, due to only having interest from 5 of us with 4 of those being old farts and 1 youngun I've got a team I can move, but not sure if its worth the effort for a 5 team division. Any thoughts. Cliff | |||||

Since some people have got their teams that started from the beginning of the year, and others have made new teams just now, I've decided to take a little from both worlds and put my "adopted" team, from Costanza in with 10 trades that I just made valid now. So, it's not really "cheating" here, and I am going after that SW Message Board Punk with my "D" team that I just play around with when I'm in compulsive trading mode. I have joined the division as a young gun so that I can beat up on some old fogies. I have brought in my "A" team (and only team beyond my OTO team)....although, in my case, the A has stood for Average so far this year so there is no reason for any of you wrinklies to fear. In fact, you may need your Depends when laughing at my terrible trade habits (for example, I snapped today and blew my last 3 trades in the 15 minutes before the freeze - I just had to get rid of those damn slackers on my team!!!). id 42247 name nords nords | |||||

The age cutoff that we used in baseball was as I put in the original start of the thread. 30 and over for the old farts. 29 and under for the younguns. That was why I had slacked off on starting the league, because we weren't seeing a lot of interest. We can work it out. Cliff | |||||
