What a finish! It looks like J found a good way to use all of those trades and finished with a rush that caught Code Cracker by a nose. One Late J, with a strong effort of 473 points, passed Code Cracker and sits on top by 11 points. Harkonnon's Spätzünder ran out of gas on the last day and had to settle for third. John Frink had the best night with 520 points and the best over the last 5 days with 1,682 and moved into 4th. 2Boule rounds out the top 5. Congrats to all. It was fun.

Oh my god! The BEST smallworld/gurupian pennant race EVER! This was awesome. First, code cracker all the way, the Hark pulls up fast and makes a run down the stretch, but code cracker holds him off, then Hark makes an unbelievable late run and surpasses him with one day to go. However, we all see that J master J (the one and only Mets fan) has a stockpile of very valuable trades left in the bank. And in an unbelievable coup de etat he wins the cup at the wire coming from behind like a mean big mofo in a maximum security penitentiary.
Whoa, the dialogue got the better of me.

Thanks for all your hard work Richard.
Good job J, Cracker and Hark. Once again, I managed to maintain my tradition of averageness.

Wow, even closer than I thought. Hark, CC & I were "watching" the action online last night and apparently it was Bonk's assist on Ottawa's empty netter that gave me the top spot!!! (Hark made me have a false sense of security making me think I was up by 41!!!!!! just kiddin)
In conclusion, I have so many people to thank!!! Thanks to Richard of course for posting these standings, without which I probably wouldn't have even known where I stood most of the year!
Thanks to Hark and CC for an exciting finish...it was alot of fun!!!!
And thanks to mom & dad for, ummmm, ok, whatever.
Rangers in 2004!!!!!

Well just short !
To be part of it was as good as it gets !
J and Richard with a great job doing the standings and it's only fitting that J pulled in the Late Start Title. Richard you know what that means for you in the next hockey season.
J
nice scare eh ! not my fault though, I calculated points right of the GameCast applet. They changed Bure's 2nd goal to Sillinger after the game. I made two errors though a) was 15 points low on Boucher's score, b) was 10 points low on Czerkawski.

Well, I guess I should have paid more attention, and used my trades. Regardless, it was a pleasure to play in this league with you all. Congratulations J, and thank you Richard for keeping us all posted. I hope baseball will be this exciting!

Good work throughout the year Richard. I enjoyed the pennant race even though I watched from outside most of the year. I finished in 10th and congrats to all that beat me.
Thanks again,
John Jansons
