Thought I'd point out a few RotoGuru milestones just past or pending:
1. 10,000 threads at the hoops forum. The Baseball forum is the most active, with more than 16,000 threads since the forum's inception. Hoops ranks #2, with thread #10,000 being the action thread on Dec. 3. I haven't scoured the other forums, but I doubt if any of the others is even close.
2. GuruPatron donations and donors for 2003 passed last year's marks this week. Thanks for the continued support. For more details on prior years' numbers, see here.
The year still has a few weeks to run. Suppose we can reach $7,000? Probably not. Regardless, I think my hourly rate (net of expenses) for the year may have actually topped $1.00! (Yeah, I cut back a little on the hours this year...)
3. The site turns 6 years old next week. I'll address that in a blurb next week (if I remember).
4. I turn 50 on Sunday. Thanks for keeping me young at heart. |

Wow, only 50. I knew you were young for being 'retired' (if you call all this work retiring), but not that young. Darn fine work on leaving the grind behind at such an early age. I hope I can follow in your footsteps! Thanks for everything you do for us!
