FREE and now accepting entries:

ESPN's Men's Tournament Challenge 2007

Anyone interested in participating is welcome to join the private group BBC Regs on a Raft; password: uconn.

Five entries allowed per person.

Register your entries now and make your selections after the brackets have been announced (scheduled to take place Sunday, March 11). Pick the winners and enter your tiebreaker score for the championship game; correct pick point values increase with each round of the tournament. Change your selections as often as you like during the registration period, but all selections must be finalized by the tip-off of the first NCAA men's tournament game, currently scheduled for Thursday, March 15.

First place: $10,000 cash straight out of blue hen's nest
Runner-up prize: $5,000 Best Buy gift card
The runner-up prize winner will be determined by a random drawing from all eligible entrants other than the first-place winner.

ESPN Women's Tournament Challenge is also up and running; brackets are to be announced Monday, March 12.

The 2008 version of Men's Tournament Challenge is now accepting entries; the lnks, group name, and password in the opening post will work for this year's game. The grand prize is still $10K.

Significant changes:
Ten entries allowed per person. (Read the eligibility rules first if you think you have a chance at winning one of the prizes.)
Brackets are to be announced Sunday, March 16; lock time coincides with the first game of the tournament, scheduled for Thursday, March 20.
Runner-up prize: $5,000 Circuit City gift card and $500 ESPN Shop gift card.

Save at least one of your entries for Blue Hen's Bracket Challenge.

All picks will lock at the scheduled tip-off time of the tournament, currently scheduled for Saturday, March 22.

First place prize: $5,000 Circuit City gift card and $500 ESPN Shop gift card.
Runner-up prize: $1,000 Circuit City gift card and $250 ESPN Shop gift card. The runner-up prize winner will be determined via a random drawing from all eligible entrants other than the first-place prize winner.

Locktime for the men's tournament is tip-off of the first game of the tournament, currently scheduled for Thursday, March 20, 2014. Bracket is available Sunday, March 16.

Prize info:
a. The approximate retail value ("ARV") of all prizes is $10,000. Sponsor will award one (1) grand prize (the "Grand Prize") to a randomly-selected Entrant who is among the top one percent (1%) of eligible point scorers in the Promotion.
Grand Prize Winner (One): $10,000.00 Best Buy gift card (ARV: $10,000.00)
Odds of winning prizes depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
b. Random Drawing. The top 1% of entrants, based on overall points, will be entered into a random drawing. For purposes of determining the top 1%, no tiebreaker will be used. Instead, a "cutoff score" will be determined that includes at least the top 1% but may also include additional tied Entrants. The Grand Prize drawing will be held on or around Wednesday, April 9, 2014. Potential Prize Winner will be notified by phone and/or by email within a reasonable time after the Grand Prize drawing, not to exceed thirty (30) days.

Locktime for the women's tournament is tip-off of the first game of the tournament, currently scheduled for Saturday, March 22, 2014. Bracket is available Monday, March 17.
