0 Subject: Guess the number of TSN Hoops teams for $50

OK. I figure its been a while since I donated to Guru...ok A LONG WHILE...so, atleast make it interesting (to me) and offer a $50 donation to RotoGuru.com under the Gurupie's name with the closest count of total teams participating at the start of the TSN Hoops season.

If the winner is CanEHdian, they have to solve this problem for x: x=1+1 and give the definition for "wickets".

So, that said, I'm tossing out 2358 as my Total TSN teams count for the start of the season.

As RSF states at the beginning: "total teams participating at the start of the TSN Hoops season."

That means Tuesday at 8pm ET to me. That's when the first game of the season starts.

Excel can do it in 2 mins.
For the record when I made my pick there were approx 1850 teams so it is not like I had all that much more info.

If that's not possible, OK with me also. Just hoping I was able to give a good guess nevertheless. ;)

If you move your team to a new league and use the "join the existing league" link you can see a listing of all the leagues and number of teams in each league.
DL that into Excel and then add sum up the column.

I would think that the official count should be whatever TSN has for the freeze at 11 PM.
Not that I will have a dog in the fight as the count is at 2230 with a little over 6 hours for late comers to add a team.

Cool, thanks for including it, RSF! But as weykool says we're at 2230 only right now, it looks like I'd have to buy 400 more teams to have a realistic shot at the $50 prize... :)

Will be interesting to see how many teams are added before 11pm.
It would still be possible to have a full roster for tomorrows games or if a manager was planning to go DL.
My guess is we get another 50-60 tonight.
