9-cat, H2H, 14 teams, playoffs

This is a new format to me so I was hoping to hear some more experienced managers' input.

MY TEAM:
Chris Paul PG
Marcus Camby C
Jermaine O'Neal PF,C
Luol Deng SG,SF
Mo Williams PG
Jameer Nelson PG
Stephon Marbury PG
Andrew Bogut C
Ronnie Brewer SG,SF
Al Thornton SF,PF
Corey Brewer SF,PF
Acie Law IV PG,SG
Martell Webster SG,SF

Somebody has dropped Tyrus Thomas.

a) Should I pick him up off of waivers (my priority is 5 of 14), hope he becomes a FA or do nothing?
b) If you think I should pick him up, who should I drop?

Oh and there's also a 30 move limit in this league if that changes anything. I have made zero moves so far.

I don't see anyone worth dropping to pick up Tyrus, although, I'm not a big TT fan.

If you really want him, maybe Acie because you have 1000 point gaurds, but you know Acie would get snatched right up on potential.

Move limit? That stinks.

I disagree.
I refuse to play in leagues that dont have a limit of some sort.
When you sign up for a public league at Yahoo there is always some Yahoo who churns their players every day so that every night they have a full slate going.
One season a guy in one of my leaagues had over 300 roster moves.
How fun is that?

in H2H a trade limit is good I learned last year.
As for Blooki: I would hold for now.

Well, a limit on games played per position would take care of that weykool - like we do in RIHC. I have to agree with Mike D on roster move restrictions, though I agree with you, churning the roster simply to get extra games played would blow as well- though I think Mike D would still enjoy that :-)

Like I said, pick up TT, he's the greatest thing since sliced cheese.

Yeah, games limits are common, not move limits, at least in roto. Solves the problem weykool is talking about.
