Subject: December 5th - December 11th Trade Thread

Most of us have made our bed for this trading week ending 12/4, so it's time to consider next week.
My most pressing concern is --- will Lebron James be ready to play this week? I, amongst many others, are keeping aside the $2.5-$3 million it will take to get him --- are we wasting that cash waiting on him, assuming he will play? Even if he comes back, will he get back to his superhuman self quickly enough for our trigger-happy trade fingers? |

I'm debating on Devin Harris. Money wise, he definitely needs to go. I always hate giving up a game, but if he DNP's tomorrow, he's the same as anybody else. My eventual out was going to be Udrih to free up money for Lebron from Marion. Calderon is an interesting choice also. Have to decide by 7:00 pm PST.

I'm in the same boat as you jedman. I have a feeling Calderon is going to be on of those "if I get him, he'll be replaced by Ford and if I don't get him, he'll average 40" type situations. I'm leaning towards Beno so I can have money to get out of Sean Williams later, but Calderon is really tempting.

Even hearing that Harris will play tomorrow, I think it's too late for him as far as money is concerned. He'll lose a bunch tonight to Udrih mostly and Calderon tomorrow when managers see the big loss tonight and have 4 new trades to play with. At this point in the season, I think the dollars are worth more than one Harris game. If it was March, it's a no brainer, hold him.
I'm going with Calderon. I just think he's a better TSNP choice than Udrih.
One more hour to waffle.

if people trade moon, their teams should automatically be locked and rendered inactive...but again, I agree that he might see some losses

i really want to get into tinsley on the 11th his #s have been for too many games to be a flake ... only thing i was worried about was that jermaine oneal would come back and reclaim the offense but as can be seen in the last few games they both shined together
only problem is with my current plans i don't have enough to get him without trading another good scedule player and even if i did that i would have enough to just get boozer anyway
