Slow pace to the first Q of the Suns/Nugs game.
Any word on Duncan? No news is good news? |

2 trades in the last few weeks have really hurt me. I took Al Jefferson instead of Paul, worrying about not having enough trades. Took Grant Hill over Bynum a few days ago for the same reason. I'll let everybody know my other choices in the future so you can do the opposite. I am going Duncan>Howard, so you may want to reconsider getting Howard back.

I was wondering the same thing. He must have meant earlier than that.....in the first quarter (lol).

4 * 46 = 184 4 * 34 = 136
I guess qwert's sarcasm was lost.

Reminded me of Chevy Chase in Fletch ("She died suddenly"...."She was dying of cancer for years." "I mean at the very end, when she actually died....")

I find it interesting that Pho had Marion continue to play despite 3 fouls in the first qtr. Interesting I guess because I prefer this coaching philosophy tho I very rarely see it ever used.
I have never understood why coaches have their best players on the bench for half the game because of fouls. I mean what is the difference between a starter only playing 24 minutes because the coach sits him vs that player only playing 24 minutes because he fouled out. At least they have chance to play normal minutes if you let them play. There is no chance if you sit them on the bench.

i thought that too but i figured it was more of a referee thing where u take your player out as your acknowldgeing the fact that yes Rudy Gay is too out of line we will sit him out .... or esle maybe the refs would be jus prone to give him another foul

#8 Agree 100%. Has always been a pet peeve of mine. You save your good player for the end of the game and by the time you get your player back into the game you are down by 20 . Do some coaching....switch up assignments....go to a zone....make the other players on the court aware that they must help out the players who are in foul trouble....do something other than put the guy on the bench. I will admit there are some players who get caught up in the emotions of the game and need a time out......but you cant assume every player is the same.

After getting dinged up last night, Tim Duncan (knee) is back in the starting lineup Monday against the Warriors.
The Big Fundamental sustained a knee contusion in the final moments of Sunday's game against the Clippers.

I know it's after the freeze, but listening to the pre-game, no news about Duncan not playing and it has showed him warming up, so I'm assuming he's a go. That's good news.

Figures Amare and Hill would be in foul trouble in a high TSNP game. Both on the bench with 4 fouls right now. I suppose most have Amare, but not so much Hill.

it always fun when you have a player like camby or marion and u browse the highlights on yahoo but forget that blocks dont show and realize they actualy got that extra 2.5-5 pts in the quarter

Warriors/Spurs on pace for about 75 points each for the whole game, what an ugly start.

Warriors have that look I don't like, standing around on offense and shooting some horrible looking shots.
Hill to the bench with his fifth, idiot!

Looks like it was Jefferson>Howard today for those that had trades and no Duncan. I didn't expect to lose that much on Jefferson today, didn't realize that many had him. I guess it makes sense, if I had to choose between Howard or Jefferson I'd pick Howard. I hope they both have big games tomorrow.

the only thing that would make me smile is a 60+ game by jefferson and a 30 (or less) game by howard. chances? 2%... maybe. lol.

The Warriors are just fun to watch when they are rolling like this. I really hope they can hang on. Would be the first time we beat the Spurs back to back since 1997.

#8, I couldn't agree more
The number of times I've seen Bosh get benched with only 2 in the 1st quarter, and almost always that leads to him having a poor game. It's a stupid philosophy.

Baron Davis is just amazing. I hope he can stay healthy because I'm getting him from Jefferson on Wednesday. Would have done it today if I had an extra trade.
Looking pretty good for a W's victory.

I'm 20K short of Duncan => Dwight.
People are idiots. Why did TSN put an 'injured' status on Duncan?

One must always take into account the idiot factor of TSN owners. I barely made it by 180k.
