Heat, Hawks to play final 51.9 seconds over

I wonder how this will effect Roto, TSN and NBASE, amoung other games.

AJ's final two points will be wiped out for sure. I'm guessing the free throws will have to be redone as well.

I would wonder what the argument could be for redoing the FT's.
He might have missed them if Shaq were in the game instead of on the bench?
I would assume that they would replay it from the point the Heat were at a disadvange caused my the mistake.

As for TSN scoring I would hope they would treat it like a non-event.

I don't think you can speculate either way. The replay would be from the moment Shaq was improperly told to leave the game. Anything after that is washed away, including the FT attempts.

I would imagine, if TSN were to stay consistent, you will only get credit for points if those players are on your team that day when the replay happens - March 8th. I liken this to games that get cancelled because of weather, etc. in basketball or rainout double headers in baseball.

So, if you have J Smith on March 8th you should get any points scored from the replay point on and the points for the regular game scheduled that day.

If you had J Smith on Dec 19th you score won't change. If he scores 4 more points on March 8th in the replay but is no longer on your roster, your points should not change from Dec 19th.

I am sure there are several ways to look at it but I am just thinking about what they have done in the past.

Will be wild if the game goes to OT!

I think itd be pretty much a pointless effort if Shaq is still out injured, as he wont be able to take part in it anyway... Anyone else feel like that?

That would be ironic.

[5] - It's already in OT. But it could go to a 2nd OT.
