Farn,
It looks like you have found a way to fix the stats for yourself. Camby was awesome last night.

Yeah, although I guess you could say a caught a break so to speak when it appeared SJax wouldn't play so I went to Camby. I'm slowly fixing my RV (+$2.5 million the last 5 days) and with the current lineup I should keep gaining.

twolves, feel free to cut me at any time. My squad is cursed. First Mo Willy this week and now after holding Gay for two days of hits, he has the flu on his game day. I think that is 4th or 5th guy with the flu and some with no warning for this team this year. This is the part of the game that really makes you say oh well, time for something else. I can handle being short trades, not taking the hot guy, etc. but when you lose pts over and over again to flu while everyone else prospers, it gets old.

I think our team was cursed tonight with A. Johnson ejection.
The real question is will Gay play tomorrow, I guess. Even then, I wonder how many can afford to trade him this week with other plans.
The good news is that the timberwolves are in the game with Phoenix and they are here next week.

Let's just hope AJ doesn't get a suspension for tonight's actions. A 2 tsnp night is bad enough by itself.

If A Johnson got suspended that would change a lot of plans and we may not know until Monday potentially since that is their next game.
The Charlotte blowout did not help things either with J Rich and Wallace having ugly lines.

Baron to Kidd for me today.
That will leave me with 1 trade. I was planning to move Calderon. I'm still planning to do that unless the Anthony Johnson news is real bad. My best move may be to Vince Carter but I'd want to make that move today. Eats up most of my spare cash but it keeps me aggressive which is the only way to dig out of my early season hole.
I could also try Parker to save cash for a time of need but he's a short term hold.

If you are going to be tradeless, you might as well use up the cash if you like Carter. I might wait until tomorrow if you have a decent window since both play and the point may be pretty equal--although I suspect Calderon will definitely take a small drop today and Carter may go up a little probably. I think Parker has had ups and downs battling nagging injuries. Either might be held through brief weak schedule around the 30th if really trade challenged at that busy time.
The risk if trading today would be an injury tonight to newly acquired player or if someone else got injured tonight. It would be an interesting choice whether to trade Calderon with last trade if you did not use it today and there was a big injury.

Farn, I am digging my heals in against you. One on one the rest of the way?
As for Calderon:
Dunk - wide open on your choices Farn - no issue Me - JR to G, Jamison Qwert - you can go JR to G, Butler Qwerty - you can go JR to G, Jamison. You have Jackson to move to tho. reebb and Rendle- no issue Twolves- you have to pick that cheap guard we discussed.
In review, the good news is only twolves has to gamble on a scrub guard. The rest of us have the flex to get soem of the stud F coming up. Nice planning team.

that's just what i did G...now i just have to make it through Martin Luther King day with my fingers crossed...and tonight of course
no planned trades for next week at this point. chris paul and the bobcats may go at some point for lakers and/or jamison...though that 5 game road trip for the cats has some pretty favourable opponents so i am tempted to try to hold them right to the end of their schedule.

Yeah that game advantage exists throughout the end of the schedule so it may cost a little money but the way GW has been playing, I am willing to see how this one plays out.

As the lone team to avoid Kidd, he is taking it easy on me. I can't remember who pointed out Kidd was a short term hold but thanks so far.

whoa, this team has some serious issues - I lead the group in trades. The recent DNP's and my own choice not to chase a few folks have lead to a drop like a two ton brick. However, with no trades planned and 2 in the bank perhaps things will turn around soon.

My Cassell trade looks real bad today other than gaining some RV--ugh.
I guess the Phoenix players all got sold today along with Kidd. I hope they go off tomorrow.
G--How can you have the most trades? Your team looks like it is ready to make a move.
Nice to see the Twolves won a close one--they have been due one for a while. Sorry Dunk.

"G, I thought you didn't curse?:)"
Speaking of "curse" I think I bought Anthony on my other 4 teams. Somehow he didn't fit this one. The "curse" got it messed up and got the wrong guy.

Just got home from church and I propmtly see that M Willy rewarded me for all the praise I gave him today.
Farn, can you add a "surprise DNP" to the standings. I would like to see my team leading at least one category. After all, even Yahoo box scores track turnovers, missed shots etc.

It is really frustrating with all the DNPs lately.
I guess Mo Willy has to go?? Will the pinkie cause him more than one game ala Camby.
I think I am going to hold Wallace--if he plays I like the differentiation possibilities since his schedule can run two weeks and 8 possible games.

I'm going to hold Wallace as well and wait for further news tomorrow. It's like paying to see the flop. If all is well, he's a 45 TSNP/gm stud with a 7 in 11. There are other ways into the Butlers, Odoms, and Kobes of the world.

Sorry g, was hoping you would get the e-mail in time, though I don't think the options were great anyways.
Hoping to hold Wallace as well.
How bad is it that Udrih is outscoring Kidd coming off the bench.

Kidd --> Jaric?
Marko Jaric had 15 points, eight rebounds and 10 assists on 6-of-12 shooting as the Wolves beat the Suns on Wednesday.

Kidd->Josh Smith
Smith got 71 pts and trade was a net $230K.

I am still holding both Kidd and Wallace but fortunately already had Josh Smith.
The team did very well with 5 J. Smith yesterday. We are looking good this period.
Jaric had a pretty good line last night especially for his price. A cheap guard/forward anyone??

Kaman--now another surprise DNP. G you must him on your roster.
An Ankle sprain that does not sound too serious--fortunately with his long term schedule, I doubt there will be many sellers even if he misses another game.

Still thinking about it but the pressure will still be on to sell as many have locked in trade already I suspect. I have reserve trade for Kaman if needed.

nice to finally have trades again as the NBA continues to drop like flies with the flu and hip problems.
I'm thinking I will go Duncan/Butler to James/Howard.
This obviously still has me holding Kaman. I am a believer that he'll be back tonight. Of course by holding he is sure to sit again and force my hand at the last minute.
