Qwerty, several web sites have him as questionable and since he comes off the bench he wouldn't be in the pre-game lineups.

18 - was just thinking the same. looks like kobe's not worth his price anymore with gasol in the team. good for the lakers, bad for fantasy basketball ;-)

18 & 19, I think you might be jumping to conclusions a little prematurely. Kobe did OK with Bynum around. I'm not saying Bynum is as good as Pau. Actually, maybe I am, Bynum is pretty good.

I wouldn't write off Kobe just yet.

nah, not writing kobe off entirely, just thinking that his fantasy value will suffer a bit.

as for camby... don't get me started. how many seasons do i need to play this game before i know that he's not good for me? ;-)

I'm surprised at Odom too. I expected his numbers to dip but so far after two games I think points and rebounds are up. Maybe he's just trying to make sure he doesn't fade into oblivion. Of course, with Kobe not right, it's hard to say what will be. Once Bynum is back, There's not enough balls for everyone's numbers. This is not Phoenix.

oh wow, I'm a such a tool. I had an invalid roster on one of my teams, the one in the TSN boards league. It had a 255 point lead on Mike Shecter coming into tonight. Should make things more interesting now. Mike Shecter will be so happy, lol.

OMG Yehosh,

There is a thread on the TSN messageboard about sad stories. It just doesn't get sadder than that in fantasy sports.

21,

he actually wasn't THAT great with bynum around. good, but not worth 12 million with the likes of kamam, bosh and miller (if he ever stops bleeding) around.

not saying it's time to jump ship, but one or two more suspect games and the number 2...possibly number 1 player on active teams is sure to drop.
