yes...i think he'll be quite popular for people selling Kaman that need a C.

I don't get the selling of Kaman. Not buying, sure, that makes sense. But we don't know if he's out. And if he is out, it could be just one game. What happens if he does play, what's the move then? Just seems like waiting tonight and reevaluating tomorrow is the right move.

Until he's ruled out, I think he's an 100% hold at this point.

as I said, I dont want to sell, seems like a wasted trade. Problem is, there is very little information about that dumb shin of his.

Last time he had already missed a game and was closer to 8 million. Then he got the flu on top of it. We don't even know if he's going to miss a game. There have been many times where players have been questionable this year and ended up playing and playing well (Stephen Jackson and Camby and Duncan, off the top of my head).

sure...but we know nothing about this and obviously this 'bruised shin' is something pretty serious for it to still be lingering. frankly, what's a bruised shin? sometimes i bang my shin on a table and get a bruise, but what we're dealing with in this situation is beyond me. other concern is that the clippers have nothing left to play for.

Exactly, we know nothing about this. All we have right now is "he may or may not play tonight." I really feel the downside of holding tonight pales to the risk of selling him only to see him play. We'll want him back immediately, and have a roster spot being taken by someone we didn't really want in the first place.

A sore shin could be a stress fracture and thats bad news. They may not want to reveal that kind of information.

I really dont know what to do, so I sold him on a lesser team

Re: 12

For what it's worth, it was Kaman's left shin last time and this time it's his right so we can dispel the notion that this is a "lingering" injury.

tell me about it. As a Raptor fan, it was a huge disappointment from the NBA to find out that the likes of Joe Johnson and Rip Hamilton will be there and Calderon won't (not disrespect to JJ or Hamilton intended)

Old Injury (left shin)

"Kaman said Sunday that the bruise in his lower left leg was still sore."

New Injury (right shin)

"Center Chris Kaman came down with a sore right shin and is listed as questionable tonight against the Memphis Grizzlies as the Clippers return from the All-Star break."

Well, I am banking on his right shin being as bad as his left shin and I sent him packing. Good bye to Kaman x5 and hello to Chandler X5. That said, look for Kaman to put up 50 tonight and go on a roll for several weeks since I have no way back to him now. Oh well.

In fact bringing me back to the Camby/Sprewell days, would already be good.
But this bunch, no thank you.
17 TO's they had in the first half.
Must be a record.

chris bosh is dismantling the magic. 11 of 12. he and calderon have missed exactly 1 shot between them.

The 93-94 team was the Ewing led team with Oakley, Starks, Mason, Harper, Hubert Davis, etc.

The 98-99 team was where Ewing went down, and the team was led in the playoffs by Houston, Johnson, Sprewell, and Camby.

Both had some of the most amazing and painful moments I've ever seen. Everyone remembers Starks now for Game 7, but most forget that he almost singlehandedly won the series in Game 6 for them.

I love how much Bill Walton detests Larry Johnson. "Larry Johnson is the most pathetic human being in the history of Western Civilization."

yeah, the only real worry I have as a raptor fan is that Calderon isn't signed to an extention yet. I don't want to get into a debate as to who is better than who, but now that Kidd has been traded, I really think Jose is the best PG in the East.

Anybody admit to not having Lebron? What a TSNP machine.

I'm moved Jamison/Kaman to Bosh/David West. I'm stuck with
Horford who tends to disappear, but I'm hoping the sheer volume
of their games will make up for some of it.

One more reason for Kaman to have a big game.
