Lots of Talk out there:
Miami is shopping Marion around to see what they can get, and Memphis is a key player with Cleveland getting Marion in the end???
The Raptors are getting close to acquiring Joe Smith, who would add much needed rebounding to the team. |

David Aldridge is at it again. This time he's announcing quite a blockbuster three-way trade involving the Cavs, Sonics and Bulls.
As the Akron Beacon-Journal first hinted at this a.m., and that the Four-Letter advanced, the Cavs, Bulls and Sonics have pulled the trigger on that big ol' three-way: Larry Hughes and Drew Gooden to Chicago,
Ben Wallace and Joe Smith to Cleveland.
The Cavs' Ira Newble, Donyell Marshall and Adrian Griffin to Seattle for Wally Szczerbiak and Delonte West.

More about that:
David Aldridge is reporting in his live blog that the Cavaliers, Bulls and Sonics agreed to a big three-way trade just before the deadline. The Cavaliers are expected to receive Ben Wallace and Joe Smith from the Bulls along with Wally Szczerbiak and Delonte West from the Sonics. The Bulls get Larry Hughes and Drew Gooden, and the Sonics get Ira Newble, Donyell Marshall and Adrian Griffin. Ben Wallace and Joe Smith to Cleveland. The Cavs' Ira Newble, Donyell Marshall and Adrian Griffin to Seattle for Wally Szczerbiak and Delonte West.
It sounds like it's only a matter of time before this becomes official. We'll break down the trades implications once it's all sorted out, but for now consider adding Wally World and Delonte West, especially in deep leagues. Jeff Green should also see a boost in minutes for the Sonics. Source: Phillynews.com / Rotoworld

Does this mean that Hughes now starts with Hinrich in backcourt and... Sefalosha comes off the bench ? Noah and Thomas up front ?

Until he sits with an injury after a week of play. The guy is not worth it. What I was wondering is what is the main goal the cavs had in mind with this trade. Where they after a big man like Wallace or was it the Point position which is what I though they were after.

CJ Cavs got better in a lot of places. -Delonte can run the point -Wally gives them an outside presence -Joe Smith and B Wallace make them bigger up front -not to mention they got rid of Hughes

Yeah, I was surprised to see that Wally was making $13M a year over the next two. I guess that will make him pretty valuable next year.
As a Cavs fan this is exciting but have no idea how it will play out. It's funny seeing the Bulls' fans reactions to getting rid of Wallace. Cavs fans have been calling for Larry Hughes head for awhile even though the team plays pretty well with him at the point.

Yeah, Hughes has really been working despite no fan support. Looks like the Bulls noticed.
Wondering what the Cavs will now look like. Big Ben, LeBron, Z, Danny Boy/Delonte, Wally?. Where does Varejao fit it? Pavlovic?
