looks like Ford is starting to cut into Calderon's minutes and production again. |

Calderon has 0 assist in 20minutes so far, usually he'd have 15 already.

I don't think that's Ford's fault

Does Calderon has some undisclosed injury or the Pacers using some special tactic that the rest of the league has not figured out?

Al Horford reminds me of a few ex-girlfriends. You just never know what you're gonna get from day to day.

I can't believe that with as great as Calderon has been there is talk about giving him one more chance after one bad game. These guys aren't machines, they are human and will have off nights. Toronto's schedule is so good that I don't think one bad game should start a panic, come on!

On the other hand Jed, since everyone has him if some want to jump off early, you could always give them a little push to mix things up.

jedman...it's not really about his production...it's about owning players in time share situations. at this point in the season, i would ideally like to have one cheapie averaging over 25 a game and the rest averaging closer to 40+ a game. that's now 3 games in a row by calderon that i'm not happy with. but you're right...only giving him one game is probably premature. nonetheless, he is definitely on my watch list.

I hear what you're saying qwert, but with their schedule, I just think a little patience is needed. There are exactly 20 players averaging 40+ TSNP/g this year, the only one under 8.3 mill is Kaman, and I don't think he'll continue to do that. At 5.3 mill, Calderon seems pretty good to me if he can continue to average 34 per game, his season average. On a TSNP/g/$ basis, he ranks way up there. Now, maybe Ford is going to assert himself more and Mitchell is going to give him more minutes, that changes everything, but I think it's too early to tell on that issue. A cheapie that consistently gives you 25+ per game is golden. Got any names for me?
