Another outstanding performance by you guys!

Do you guys remember the movie "Ground hog day"? I feel like I wake up everyday, and it's Mike Bibby day. Every player I've bought at 5 million and below the past month have played like Mike Bibby (12,30,16,24,17,27,13) lol.

I think I've had it with Ricky Davis, he's going to be gone in a few days. I could either take his two, or use a trade on taking a F or C with three games to his two. Best candidates seem to be Gooden, Granger, and Jrich. Would you pull the trigger on any of those guys if you were me? My concern is that each has the ability to disappear entirely. On the other hand, Ricky sucks.

DPR, I wish all games were against GState, wow!

You should extend your gains back to triple digits the next few days. Half my team is starting 1 in 4's tonight.

I only did Kobe to Paul on BW2.

I could do that if I sacrifice getting Lebron. The way the rotation would play out in theory, it would be 1 Kobe, 2 Lebron, and 2 Odom vs. 5 Jefferson and 1 Ellis game for the same amount of trades.

I found another rotation also but the game breakdown is much more complicated.

The original nets 2 kobe, 2 lebron, 2 ricky, 2 odom, 2 bogut
vs. for two extra trades
2 smith, 8 jamison, 1 monta, 2 jefferson

The second one, depending on averages, works out to around 38, 53, and 49 points per trade (in theory). I just really hate not taking Lebron, even though it is only 2 games. And it's very Jamison-centric, and he's been known to disappear on me.

How would you rank the three plans? I do have three teams and could do a three-way split, but I feel there might be an even better opportunity in the future, especially when something goes wrong.

My mistake, in your Jefferson plan it's 2 Duncan, not 2 Lebron. I'd have the option of basically doing the Duncan-->Lebron trade early.

Now it's even harder.

Got frozen out of the trade intensive one, that would have been kicked off by going Kobe to Smith. So for all of you who took Smith tonight, I've guaranteed an 80.

Looks like the next debate will come Thursday night.

SU, I'd definately skip Al Jefferson to get Lebron if you can afford it trade wise, and you can. I thought you might have some extra $$ laying around to make the Ricky D to Al Jefferson move, but I see Ricky D is your only sub 5 million player.

I could do the early Al Jefferson route and still get Lebron, I'd just be trading Duncan for Lebron this week instead of at the end of the week. So games aren't really gained, but the trade would be made next week anyway. So it's exchanging two Duncans for two Lebrons.

Both the Jefferson early and the original plan are the same amount of trades. Trying to keep it as simple as possible, it could work out to a net of:

3 Jefferson and 1 Ellis vs. 2 Duncan and 1 Kobe.

Since that's a relatively small difference, I'd rather make the decision than split a team off. Right now the first one sounds pretty good, I'll reevaluate after tonight. I really need to start splitting off my teams but I haven't found a good way yet. Normally I start splitting a couple weeks ago, but the rotations lately have all felt pretty straight-forward. I probably should have kept Paul on one or two teams a couple weeks ago. Now I'll only have two weeks or less.

Never mind what I said yesterday, I think I'm going to split my teams off. I can only find two good rotations starting now, so I guess I have to go with one twice for now and split them later.

I'll let you guys make the call on which set of games goes on my GMD team. Would you rather have:

2 Duncan, 2 Odom, and 1 Kobe
or
5 Jefferson and 1 Ellis

haha yea i am def going to need a few more breaks like that the next few weeks to hold you off. I would definitly take your 5 trades over my 140 points. Should be close to the finish. Lot of people shutting it down at the end and you likely win but if that doesnt happen you may have more trouble maximizing your trades and I could hold you off.

Yes, it's alot harder to maximize trades this late in the season. The Duncan stinker made me change my plans once again.

I felt alot better about my chances last week when I had the momentum, but I feel like the momentum changed when T-Mac played that last game for you when he was iffy.

It should be interesting to the end no doubt.

#59, to make things worse SU, I was at work and checked the boxscore at halftime. Anthony had 29 TSNP's at the half. When I got home from work I checked, and Anthony finished with 33. Needless to say, if my wife hadn't been waiting for me in bed last night, I'd be without a computer monitor this morning ;)

If this season doesn't end soon, I'm going to stroke out. Duncan's 17 Sunday, and Anthony's dissapearing act in the 2nd half is getting to me. lol

Butler DNP'ing is the only thing that saved my chances of catching DPR IMO.

well two weeks ago you were willing to hand me the trophy no questions so things are clearly moving in your favor. You currently have 5 more trades and are 170 back. even only getting 33 like you did from carmelo that still has you catch me or right there. The biggest key i think is players shutting it down as you will be able to move out of those palyers and I will be stuck taking DNPs

True about 3 weeks ago, but the luck side of the game kicked in that I wasn't expecting. Chris Paul played like Magic Johnson for 5 games, and Odom turned into Wilt for 2 games. They gave me one last chance.

I really don't think that the players we'll have the next few weeks will shut it down except maybe the last game. The only one I think we'll have that may shut it down early is Al Jefferson due to the TWolves record and nothing to play for.

Best wishes to both dpr and bandwagon. It will be a nervous two weeks. It looks like another great race to the finish.

Dpr, I like your chances since you are ahead but your task will be more daunting than mine was to hold the lead since bandwagon has 5 teams right behind and another 5 behind that. I had only the Senator's 3 teams which was nerve racking enough. My advice would be look at the finish, trust your instincts, and do not look back as G would say.

Bandwagon, your trade advantage looks really big to me especially if you can gain ground without giving up too much of it. You will have to try to differentiate or gain extra games to gain ground which may get to be more difficult the closer to the finish.

Good luck to both.

i feel like we are at the point where I only need worry about bandwagons team with all the trades. My lead is quite large over the others and without the trade advantage these teams would need crazy luck to catch me. If I crash and these teams do beat then I am sure the team with extra trades will to.

having multiple teams does give him an advantage tho in that with one team and can play extremely risky and go for the win knowing that he still has th others to fall into second if it slips

This is the part of the game that before you purchase teams, TSN should have a warning label for people with high blood pressure or heart problems. I don't have those problems, but after the past few days, I'd qualify for the high blood pressure part, lol.

It let me in finally, I don't know what happened.

Looks like skipping Lebron or Jefferson and doing something different is my only shot now. I may take a chance with Bogut and hopes he plays the rest of the way.

I'd say the chances of him and Jefferson playing the rest of the way are about the same. Both are injury prone, and Jefferson has never played more than 71 games in a season. This season he's played every game (73), so if history is any indication, the odd's of him sitting out some games are good. Bogut has missed some time recently because of two different injuries, so hopefully he's good to go now until 4/16.

James, it seems crazy to even think about skipping him.

I had a plan overhaul today since Duncan(17) and Stephen Jackson(5.5) ruined my plans. I'll call it my hail mary plan on BW1, and I went with the oringinal plan on BW2 just to secure 2nd....hopefully.
