Well...you just knew it was going to happen. I think I might officially hate the NBA right now.

So, they give up the Sonics name and colors. That begs to ask...What are they going to be called?

Really trying to avoid the McVeigh and Tornado/Trailor park references.

So, I'll toss my best one out there:

Oklahoma Noodlers - A proud thing to be known for, if there ever was one. Nothing speaks for Oklahomans than the proud tradition of sticking your hand in a murky water hole and letting a catfish clamp down on it. Yee-Haw!

btw - Seattle's 2008 average attendance = 13,355

OKC averaged 18,329 during the two years the Hornets played here.

Ever try it? I'm not sure I'd want to meet someone who enjoys noodling in a dark alley.

Ladies and Gentlemen, the "I'm OK, You're OK's"!

holt, I'm sure the "I'm OK, You're OK's" will average 18,000 for the one year that they play in OKC and I'm sure the other 7,000 folks are working a second job to afford pay off the bonds on the Ford Center. They'll be back in Seattle and owned by Steve Ballmer after Howard Schultz prevails in his lawsuit.

The OK Asses...hmmm. Maybe that'll be the WNBA team, which brings up an entire different issue.

OKCity Season Tickets Sold Out

They seem to be well on their way to fulfilling the first part of SZ's prediction.

Even before the season starts they're about 400 people per game from besting SEA's attendance last year.

I'm almost right a lot. Which is cool until you realize that makes me usually wrong.
