Subject: Tonight's 10/30 "Barnes Burner?" Action

Early season games are quite the double-edged sword. If a player strings together some big games, managers can sit back and watch the TSNP and TSND roll in. If a player lays a couple of eggs, managers are put on high alert watching each game closely.
Matt Barnes looks like he's earned the notoriety of being the only player falling short of expectations while having an ownership upwards of 40% (a lesser case can be made for Lebron James who shed some owners last night).
The Hornets should provide for a less stingy matchup than the Spurs last night, but fate will determine whether Matt Barnes will be "on fire" NBA Jam style or simply flame out. |

Let's hope he does well. I'm waiting for the end of tonight to make my decision on letting him go.

'sup with Bron? Seems to have flattened out on stats in the third quarter. He didn't get hurt did he?

Thanks, DJ. So, he just decided to get passive for a while or what? His stats at the end of the third quarter almost matched at the half, save maybe one extra rebound.

Flat stats? He might get a triple-double...

The Cavs were on a roll with him on the bench in the end of the 3rd and the beginning of the 4th. Mike Brown rarely gets a chance to rest LBJ and he took advantage of it.....

Yao limped his way to 30 points, 13 boards, 2 blocks on 8 for 8 from the stripe and 11 of 15 from the floor in 40 minutes.

PHO is playing too many ppl. Not just for us fantasy owners, but for the team to have any chemistry on the court. At least based on the first half.

Yeah, at first glance, I'd be ready to dump Barnes, but they're just playing so poorly right now, it's hard to tell what he can do.
